I bought the kettle and toaster together. The kettle is lovely. I don’t have an issue with it not having a water window, to me it’s better as no scale can get in on it. Large lid so easy cleaning. I had read a comment on another review page, saying the constant beeping was annoying, you can turn it off by holding to keep warm function button for about 5 seconds. It’s also very quiet. The toaster seems very deep and does have a dust cover, but only put it on once it’s cooled down. My only issue is, the body of it is different from the kettle. I’ve ordered another one to see if that’s the same. I haven’t tried to the toaster yet as if the new one is exactly the same as the kettle I’ll keep that one. But it is quite noticeable. But the kettle is amazing. I have added two photos so you can see the difference.

Excellent toaster sleek modern and toasts beautifully

Love the look of this kettle and the fact you can select a temperature, but these are its only plus points. The lid does bit fit correctly as the seal keeps moving and if you don't notice this when putting the lid on, as my son didn't, the lid flies off and scolding water goes everywhere. The controls are also so dark that if the ambient is slightly dark, you can't see where the control buttons are. I am trying to contact the company to resolve this but i seem to be having to go round the houses to get through to anyone. Would not recommend.

Had problems with the first one blowing the house fuses but replaced immediately and this one is working well. Nice easy controls, like the pop up viewing. Some difference in browning between sides.

A fairly expensive toaster but definitely not worth the money. I bought this because it appeared in a couple of newspaper best buys roundups when I was looking for a replacement for our Krups toaster (very good but nothing lasts for ever). Krups didn't appear to make toasters any more, so had to look elsewhere. From the start it was very slow to toast (at least twice as long as the Krups) and despite being described as 'toasting evenly' the browning was in definite bands. Over the six months we've had it a) the toasting power has reduced, so instead of a setting of 5, we had to run it at its max of 7, and b) if the middle of the toast was done, the bottom was almost untoasted and the top burnt. I also missed the 'frozen' function of the Krups toaster (that toasted a frozen slice of bread perfectly). The 'small slice' setting appeared to do nothing, as all the elements continued to heat up. The 'single side toasting' option appeared to work (though the other side still got slightly toasted). Apart from the slot cover (which is very useful to stop things falling into the slots when not in use), I have nothing good to say about this toaster at all. Now been replaced with an Amazon basics toaster, which is much better value for money and produces better toast in half the time.

Here we have a good kettle for keeping the water warm and setting the right temperature for your brew but the downside to it is the inside design of the filter, if you have hard water and for how low the filter is placed when pouring, the limescale goes around the filter and will still get into your cuppa and leave a frothy surface, for the cost of this item I wouldn’t recommend it as I had better results from a cheaper kettle or spend money on filtered or bottled water to use.
