These are nice soft warm booties that have improved my sleep. They take a certain amount of planning to make them work well. Since they are not washable, and since they are put into the microwave to heat up, I think it is important that you wear clean socks and that you not get the booties dirty by walking around in them. I wear ordinary slippers to carry the booties to the microwave in the kitchen, then carry the warm booties back to the bedroom and immediately put them on and get into bed. Don't wait too long, or they will lose their warmth. However, once they're on your feet, they maintain their warmth for hours. I suggest you get a half size larger than your usual shoe size.

They are very warm and cozy. I do have to heat them longer than 1 min. Usually closer to 2 min. I do have to say for someone without good mobility, they are a little weighty and difficult to walk in. If you plan to wear them to sleep and the bathroom is far from your bed, you're going to struggle a bit. In my case, I read for an hour or so when I go to bed and I remove them before sleep but they get me all cozy and ready because I can't sleep when my feet are cold.

Ok so I loved these on the places on my feet where they worked and before they leaked. For me, there wasn’t enough of the flax on the top of the toes (where I feel the cold). Also, they don’t hold heat very long- maybe 20-30 minutes. The biggest issue was the flax seeds dropping everywhere. I was careful to never walk in these but still they leaked—-.

Keep your feet warm. Suggest get a size larger to allow you to wear socks with them. Well made. A fair and good price. Do keep your feet warm. Recommend buying. Was fast to send.

Well, first let me say that these booties are an excellent idea. The women in our family seem always to have cold hands and feet, no matter the season so I was excited to give these as gifts. However, the first problem we encountered was that we received 2 of the same foot (left, I think it is) instead of a left foot and a right foot. And while they do a fair job of keeping feet warm, the Velcro doesn't stay well fastened closed, so if you try & walk around, they're constantly falling off. But here's the BIG clencher: my mom put them in the microwave for one minute today and after only *20 seconds* they both caught fire! Fortunately, the flicker of the flames caught her eye and she immediately opened the microwave, pulled out the glass carrousel they were sitting on and was able to snuff out the flames on both. But an 80-year old shouldn't be faced with this kind of hazard. Obviously, no one should. BTW I'd say these get used 2-3 times a week, which doesn't seem excessive to me, and we've had them less than 2 months. We've logged the concern with Amazon CS. If you buy these, be extra vigilant when warming them.

My 92 year old mom in law loves when I hear these up in the microwave for her ice cubed little feet. This woman is cold when the house is a stifling 76 degrees, so in order to maintain my cool ( pun intended), I got her these and a shawl made from the same stuff. Just pop them in the microwave (the two slippers first, then the shawl) for 90 seconds each, and granny is happy and can turn the heat down to a manageable 72. Whew! These don’t have a lot of stretch, but they really aren’t for walking around in. They fit snugly due to the Velcro strap-like closure. Zero issues with them falling off. They wash well, they hold up well, they do the job. I’d say I got my money’s worth. They are soft and a pretty shade of purple. Mom likes them, and they wash abd dry well. They seem durable and I think they will last her a good long while as long as she doesn’t wear them like regular shoes or go outside to feed chickens in them. It was a good buy.

This is an amazing product, I suffer of very cold feet during the winter and nothing worked until I found these! You cab wear them and walk around the house and go on about your day without having to stay seated and wrapped in a blanket. They're warm, very easy to use, and keep me relaxed even while being active. Exactly as described and even better! I highly recommend

These keep the heat for long enough for my feet to remain warm. I must admit that I heat them for longer than the instructions tell me to. They have a lot of mass, so I have to heat them one at a time to fit in my microwave, but that doesn't affect the outcome. Very happy with my purchase.
