Excellent heater cartridge of at least OEM quality
This is a great replacement cartridge that seems to be at least of OEM quality in my i3 clone. Heats just as well as OEM and the wires seem pretty durable to me. It was true to size being a 6.35mm (1/4") unit, which is a bit rare compared to the far more ubiquitous 6mm variants. I use it pretty regularly up to about 265C without issue.

No issues. Performed as expected.
This installed as easily as you would expect. Mechanical tolerances appeared good. Wired it up and it runs just like its predecessor.

Easy to install, works like a charm
Used this to replace the heater block in my Wanhao i3. Perfect fit, easy to install. The wires are very long so you'll have to cut them to size and connect them.

Compatible with Maker Select I3
And presumably the Wanhao Duplicator as well.Took like 5 minutes to install, fits great. Appears to be heating reliably, though I've only had it in for like 20 minutes. Actually seems like a slightly *better* fit than the stock one, in that it is the same length as the heater block, rather than being a few mms longer. To install, I used: * A crimper * A heat gun * Two butt splices * A pair of angle shears (sisors or blade would work fine) * the hex wrench included with the Maker Select * Small pliersI heated the extruder to 210, and unscrewed the screw on the bottom of the heater block with the wrench, and then removed the core from the block with the pliers (no resistance once it's hot and the screw is out). I put the new one in place while the block was still hot, put back the screw and turned the printer off. I clipped the cables to length (they're excessively long for this purpose!) And clipped just past the fat part of the stock butt splice, wanted to keep as much length as possible. I trimmed off the remainder of the butt splice from shielding using the shears, and stripped off 5mm to expose the wire on both sides using the crimper. Then I just attached the two new butt splices to the heater side using the crimper, and then to the printer side (A bit fiddly, getting that close to the gantry, but it's doable). Then I used the heat gun on the splices to shrink the shielding down, and turned on the printer to test it out, and it was working.I might recommend using smaller butt splices than I did, but they worked anyway!

Does not work in Flashforge Creator Pro.
As an engineer who works on similar products the overall constructions looks good therefore I'll give them 4 stars. However the wires are 21.27 CM too short to be able to be installed in the Flashforge Creator Pro which unfortunately is what I need them for. The Flashforge Creator Pro heater cartridge has leads that are 121.28 CM from the back of the shell to the end of the wire.

did it's job just fine
Drop in replacement in my monoprice maker select v2. No adjustments in software needed, works flawlessly. the wire has that waxy coating on it, I don't remember what that's for, but it has it.

description says its 25mm in length (1 inch) what I ...
description says its 25mm in length (1 inch) what I got was 20 mm. If I wanted 20mm I would of ordered the 5 pack for 2 dollars more.And..... it was dead on arrival , whoever made this decided to crimp the connection without taking the insulation off the part of the wire that was going into the crimp.. really?

but it works like a dream
Product works perfectly and the cables are robust! I purchased this to replace a broken part on my Monoprice v2 3D printer, and it does the job! It was a bit of a squeeze to get in the assembly (the housing on my printer is 6.3mm), but it works like a dream. Very sturdy construction and a great price.

Exactly as advertised
Worked for my FF Creator Pro. I had to extend the wires by about 100mm but the length is exactly as advertised so that is not a reason to affect my rating. It fit the new heat block and works.
