Yet another set of earbuds?? Yes, there are literally hundreds, probably thousands of earbuds available on the market today. I had promised myself that I wouldn't bother trying any more. I just don't like earbuds. I find them generally uncomfortable and the sound sub par. BT is becoming a pain, always having to maintain a charge and pairing. Oh, the simplicity of a simple headset that plugs into my smart phone..To my amazement, I was intrigued with the promise of a full bass in earbuds, so I ordered them in spite of my reservations. Honestly, the more I use these Chalked, the more I find to like about them. Yes, same as the others, this has a switch on the cord to adjust volume, answer calls, and advance music tracks. Unlike most others, this has a braided cord which resists tangling. A little clip is provided which will help to prevent them from getting lost when not in use. And it comes with FIVE different sets of ear tips for best comfort and music quality. Interestingly, one of the sets was memory foam tips. I've never used this type before, so was very eager to try them. I really wanted to like them but they are simply too large for my comfort. I had thought it was odd that the instructions stressed choosing the right earbuds for best sound and comfort and wow, they weren't kidding. The memory foams were actually uncomfortable due to the metal base pressing on my ear, but when fully wedged in the ear, the sound, including bass, was amazing. Instead, I opted for smaller tips, which are very comfortable. The sound isn't quite as good, but still better than any other earbuds I've tried before.These come in a nice little zippered case with a very smooth zipper. One side has a pocket for storing the adapter. The included adapter is split design, with two male 3.5mm plugs and one female plug. Perfect for having both laptop and smart phone plugged into the earbuds at the same time for those of us who work from home or just hang out on computer regularly. In the saturated and quality control lacking audio market, this product is one of the rare cases of "Huge Bang, little Buck."I decided to write this review after I was able to try out my friend's Bose Inner Ear bluetooth earbuds this weekend. He was pretty excited to see my reaction and to be honest I had to fake being impressed. At the Bose's retail price of $150 I was expecting them at least to be BETTER than my Chalked Hi-Res, which are roughly 1/5 the price.Its not even close. The Chalked blew them away. Not only in sound quality, but also material quality. These sound and feel like they SHOULD be $150.They truly bring a new life and light to music. In some instances I have to do a double take at the name of the song to make sure its not a Remastered / Remixed version - thats how big a difference these make.

These are great earbuds! They've got a nice design and fit comfortably. Theres also a bunch of attachments to best fit your ear size/shape. Performance wise, these were also very good for the price tag. It had the right amount of lows and highs when listening to music. I also have to point out that the packaging was extremely nice. They came in a nice case with a hardshell travel container as well. I would highly recommend these for yourself or as a gift.

The audio quality is great! They are comfortable and do a good job removing back-round noise. The only reason I am giving a 4 star review is because of the positioning of the microphone and controls for it. In my opinion, it is too close to the ear bud. So, it is difficult getting the hang of muting or increasing the volume with the bud still in my ear. Again, this is more of an ergonomic thing, than a performance or quality thing but figured I would share my thoughts.

Using it as a headset for the PS4, it would randomly start an unbearable buzzing on the microphone that only others on the other end could hear. Plugging out and back in didn't help. Had to get a different headset.UPDATE: was told that the PS4 isn't supported by this unit and was offered an upgdated replacement. I already have a different headset so I'm not interested in that but I'll be increasing the rating for the customer support.

I can't say more about these headsets and especially the service that goes along with them. I had a little bit of trouble with the mic, sounded like feedback when connected to PS4. I informed the company and after a few questions they immediately sent another pair to replace them and a discount on my next purchase, it only took 2 days to get a new set which work just fine on PS4 and my other devices, the headset quality is wonderful, they are well-built and the sound is fantastic with great bass. I bought these to use on my Xbox one for gaming as they are marketed. I got them out if the box and plugged them into my phone. The sound quality is great! Unfortunately when plugging them into my Xbox controller I invariably get a terrible rhythmic noise. People began muting me and communication or listening was impossible. Tried everything and nothing fixed issue which is why I'm returning.4 stars because the sound was phenomenal for price. -1 for not working as advertised. I readPurchased for $30

The earphones do not function properly. While playing online with people the mic does not work right and a lot of static sounds with your voice in the background. EarPods have good sound but what’s the point on the good sound if they are meant for gaming and to talk to the people you game with. It is pointless to have them for gaming or any activity that requires the mic.
