Global Baby Girls (Global Babies)

My daughter LOVES to look at other babies. This book is perfect. There isn't much to read. But the message it sends is nice "girls are wonderful and can do anything" I do make up stories about the various countries the girls are from and that makes it interesting for my daughter. I like that there is a wide and diverse range of countries and ethnicities. This is a great book for your daughter or son :)

I love this book so much! I bought it for use in my library (I am a librarian) and liked it so much I went ahead and bought it for a cousin who is having a baby girl. The photos are bright and colorful. Each baby is unique and beautiful. Special attention has been paid to really capturing the baby's faces. Babies love looking at other babies! Many counties and ethnicity are represented, every baby will find another who looks just like them.

My granddaughter (five months old) already has the compantion "Global Babies" board book--and adores it! Babies love to look at other babies. I bought this so she could see a few new faces, and also because I love the message--girls are important. I know that's easy to swallow in the U.S. of A., but there are still some crazy places out there where girls are second-rate. Let's keep fighting the fight until we're all treated with respect. Great idea, beautiful babies.

Every baby loves to attend to other baby faces. Here' a lovely, lively collection of girl-babies to add to other babies featured in the first book, Global Babies, a purchase that not only delights little ones, but that contributes financially to their well being in places where support for their health and care is needed. I include one or the other title in every basket of board books I give to new parents.

Babies love this series! My daughter used to chew on her copy because she loved it so much (no joke!) looking at all the beautiful babies and their vibrant clothing was a huge hit. Even at 5 she still likes to look at these books and comment on the littlest details. These books make great gifts for the babies in your lives.
