Suitical Recovery Suit Dog, XX-Small, Blue Camouflage

Bought for my beagle for after her spay op. Did exactly what was needed and she didn't mind wearing it at all. Far better than a cone! Handy clip to roll up on underside for toilet breaks. Easy to put on and clip together, plenty of room around tummy and rear end to protect but not rub. Washes lovely too.

Did the job. I was slightly worried as my dog is very nervous even when I'm putting his harness on so I didn't have much hope and thought he will rip it off. He was wearing it for two weeks after his surgery with no problem. It really helped with not licking the wound. It fits well, just check the size chart. Easy to put on and easy fastening plus looks really cool 😎 Quality not bad however I've noticed a little hole on it and color slightly faded after few washes but generally good quality product.I would recommend take it off for a walk as after just rolling it up it came a bit wet after walking on longer grass.

This is soft and stretchy so my sweet beagle doesn't mind wearing it. I especially love: 1)the pocket that allows for a diaper/nappy pad to be inserted and 2)the way the rear is designed so that it goes *around* the tail rather than having to put the tail through it (which makes my poor girl crazy). To me this makes it easier to put on/off and to check on the pad, and I feel like it's more adjustable/customizable for animals of various shapes. It is just all around well made and well thought out. For reference, my dog is a female beagle, about 15kg/33lb and she was on the cusp of Medium and Small Plus. I bought both and the Medium is a bit too big (tried shrinking it in the laundry but it didn't change size significantly), so I'd suggest a Small Plus for pups of a similar size.

Good product, easy to use and is washable.

Our male dog had his castration recently including a second cut due to one shall we say was not in place and the vet had to find it. The suit helped although our vet explained they work better for females as males can still reach the area. Her advice if this was an issue buy cheap childrens PJs, the waist to suit your dog if it is possible size cut the legs and hole for the tail put it under the suit at night to help stop licking. The bottoms need to be baggy not tight legging typesTwice our dog caught us off guard going to the toilet outside before we opened the suit getting out the car, it washed and dried very quickly in an hour on the radiator it was good to go again. We also bought an inflatable neck collar which he hated and cried most of the night until we took it off. The PJs worked better for him although he also had ear surgery for a yeast bacteria that would not heal and he lost his eardrum. This may have been what he found hurt with the inflatable cone rather than annoyanceWe bought M Plus our dog is 20KG if this helps anyone it was a good fit not tight, our boy is slender and long, medium golden doodleI will use the suit in the future for very cold nights so he is warm sleeping which is a bonus as he accepts wearing it. He has tried removing jumpers and I worry he might hurt a leg struggling this has 8 poppers fits snuggly

Our Lab had to have surgery to have her uterus removed and she was doomed to the 'cone of shame' for a while. After a few days I felt it would be nice to let her have the cone off in the day and just have it on for piece of mind at night. I have one of the inflatable ones but didn't trust she wouldn't be able to get to her wound or shaved areas were she had injections/fluids. I decided to look online for something and came across the Suitical recovery suit.I spent quite a bit of time contemplating which size to get - either Medium Plus or Large - and trying to measure her. She is a small, slender Lab at around 26kg, so I decided to go for the Medium Plus.It actually fit her pretty perfectly! The material (mostly cotton with a bit of lycra) - is pretty stretchy. New on, it was very hugging, but not too tight that she would be uncomfortable. The important part was that it was stretched over her everywhere apart from the tummy area where her wound was, which had a little roominess. So that was great as I didn't want it to be tight and rub there.She was a little unsure what she had one her at first but soon go used to it and could tell she was so much more comfortable than being in that big ol' plastic cone! So we kept her in this suit for around 1 week with wearing the cone at night, then another week with no cone at all. It's been absolutely brilliant. Washed it twice and no issues there either. Also over time of her wearing it it's loosened up just a bit for her. After the'd been wearing it for a while or sleeping in it, I did have to just shimmy it up a bit but that's no big deal.The poppers at the back make it really easy to just unpop for when they want to go out for their business. You can kind of roll it up to keep the back bits out the way. I found there is 1 popper underneath and a strap with popper on inside. What I did was tuck the back parts inside then you can pop the strap bit around - although the back flaps could still come out if the shook or ran about enough so not too sure. I looked to see if there were instructions for their recommendation of how to use it but there wasn't any in the packet. Again - no big deal though!I couldn't comment on how long this suit would last with prolonged use, but it's been great for the 2 weeks she's had it on and if she ever needs it again (hopefully not!) then we have it ready to go. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another either!

This product is so much better than a cone. My poor dog refused to lie down and rest after the abdo surgery. This onesie however is brilliant. It's very easy to put on and it's nice and loose around the abdominal area, protecting the stitching. I haven't washed it yet so cannot comment on the quality post wash but overall the product appears solid.Update: Washes really well and held up perfectly on 40C wash with full spin.

I got my pup the Suitical Recovery Suit because I knew the cone would be a no-go. It fits perfectly. For those who have slender pups that are a little long in body, this brand works the best. The others I tried had too much material in the chest/body area for sizing longer in length. Because it is snug in the right places, he can’t get to the stitches and it helps with anxiety (like a thunder shirt). Also the material is breathable. It can be washed and dried quickly so I could put it back on. I’m going to get another one so I can swap it out easily for the next week he has to be in it.If you’re on the fence on this brand, just get it. Your pup will love you for it

This worked well for our pup post-op as she had abdominal surgery and it's hard to keep an eye on them 24/7. This gave us peace of mind that she wouldn't lick the incision. Luckily we ordered the right size using the measurements and it fit her well. The material has some stretch and give as well.

This product is amazing for post-surgery or other injuries. My dog gets incredibly depressed when you put a cone on her, but with the Suitical she is happy as can be! She had a recurrent skin rash on her stomach/groin last spring, and had to wear this for 10 days while she healed. She can still run and play in it, we simply snap the back up when she has to go out to potty. The sizing chart is also very accurate, if you measure your dog as per the guidelines. We purchased a second one to have on hand just in case!

We purchased these suits for our pups to wear after they were spayed to keep them from licking their own incisions and each others. They fit well and served the purpose the were meant for. Easy to unsnap around the tail area so they can pee and poop, then snap right up again. Held up well in the laundry too. A wonderful alternative to the head cone that just adds to the dogs anxiety.
