Buddhist Art Coloring Book 2: Buddhas, Deities, and Enlightened Masters from the Tibetan Tradition (Colouring Books)

Mrs C does a lot of these colouring books and is always looking for books with new content. I am came across this book on one of the many Buddhist sites I visit. I meditate have a shrine in my studio and try very hard to be mindful and aware. So I thought this might get Mrs C into my way of thinking . She is really looking forward to making a start , if she can tear it away from me I have been looking at the informative descriptions of each piece of art work. I'm looking forward to seeing how she tackles each picture.

This is a book which reveals the sure line and sure understanding of the most talented painter of Tibetan art in the West. Robert Beer's line drawings are well recognised as works of inspirational art even before the advent of colouring books. I really enjoyed his succinct descriptive explanations. Both these books are repositories of knowledge and beauty in a light and accessible form.

Beautiful, completely accurate drawings of a selection of Tibetan deities, with details about them in a section at the back.I just wish there was a Book 2!

This is an outstandingly beautiful colouring book of the highest quality drawing and production. It hugely exceeded my expectations - the drawing are among the most beautiful images I have seen- my daughter loves and treasures it. I feel very happy that my daughter can enjoy such calming, beautiful and inspiring images.

I particularly like the hand- drawn, painted quality of the designs in this book. The brush strokes compliment the colouring and combine to give a very nice result.
