My 6-year-old loves that I didn’t try to fool her with the fake, foam makeup this Christmas, and I love that it’s not loaded with toxic sludge. The kit is a great value for what you’re getting. The colors are vibrant, so a little goes a long way. If you’re on the fence about this one, let this be your sign to pull the trigger.

More expensive than others but quality and ingredients were main concern. Purple Eyeshadow is very light so will look for more colorful options next purchase but the blush is nice and easy to wash off. Doesn’t irritate sensitive kid skin.

Good but very expensive. The packaging is nice but it’s super irrelevant. I’d much rather get more product than all of the elaborate packaging they offer. A lot of money for what you get. And the mineral powder product is not little kid friendly. I didn’t start using that type of stuff until I was a teen. It gets everywhere if you have it open (which I never do), only I can dispense more product bc it’s not kid friendly. I worry about inhalation of the dusty mineral powder too, just make pressed powders !

While a lot of children's play makeup is garish and makes them look like clowns, THIS does not. All of the colors are very subtle.My child has very light skin and they didn't over power her. If your child has medium and darker skin tones it may not show up with the same strength . This set might look more like a glossy/ sparkly shine. (I could be completely wrong though depending on your child and/or preferences.)For the dads out there: when we bought it my husband was worried, but as soon he saw it there was a visible sigh of relief. Your child will not look crazy or inappropriate. My little girl put this on repeatedly all day long, the day we received it and the color barely got stronger. If makeup to church is okay in your family this might be appropriate for your child.

Cute thought, bit requires complete supervision for younger kids. Got it for my almost 5 yr old. The blush is powder and spilled everywhere in two uses, the brush it comes with makes no sense to use with blush. The chapstick are very pigmented and stain everything it touches.

My 6 year old loves everything makeup and glam and this is the perfect kit for her. She still gets to play dress up without me having to worry about the toxic ingredients!
