I enjoy cooking shows, but Jamie Oliver is one of my favorites
Cooking shows are a hobby that I don't get to indulge in too often, so I was very glad that Jamie Oliver's Food escapes is available on Amazon for download. I got hooked on Jamie at home when I had access to the cooking channel/food network and have missed watching his style of cooking. Very entertaining. I have to completely agree with what he says in every one of the food escape episodes, to get to the heart of a culture, you have to go via the cooking and food.I like this one as I am a big fan of Indian dishes. Moroccan really isn't that far removed from it so this episode gave me a few ideas :)

Not your usual cooking show
Produced in a refreshingly stripped down way, this is a combination cooking show and off-beat travel log. I can't wait to watch the other episodes.

Wonderful for my foods class.
Very informational, entertaining and well made. Provides a great perspective of the different cultures and their culinary habits. My students love them, and so do I. Jaimie is the best.

Jamie is a great "throw it together and make it work" cook
He makes cooking simple . He explains everything and is healthier in his food outlook. Enjoyable to watch him and he lacks some of the coarseness of other tv personalities like him. Super!
