As like all of Tamiya's products, it does what it says it does, well made, nicely weighted and balanced.

Nice, but seems to use proprietary blades
I love all things Tamiya. The knife is great. But the blades are not regular “40” type so you will be paying out a lot more for Tamiya ones. That said, if the blades last like the scissors I’m not expecting to change anywhere near as often. For cuts on rough items or on glass surfaces I use my old craft knife and save this one for the precise jobs.

Tamiya a good make.
Tamiya is a good well known make that produces great modelling products but this one in my opinion is a let down. Yes the blades are Sharpe but then so are many other model knives at a quarter of the price.The handle is uncomfortable much too thin.Sorry but very underwhelmed with this product, I certainly wouldn't recommend at this price, maybe at a tenner cheaper.

Standard requirement for model building
standard tool for model/gunpla building, a bit expensive but the amount of blades it gives you is nice. The box that holds the blade is worth more than the handle itself if you ask me, it lets you put in used blades for safe keeping.
