The media could not be loaded.  Always been a fan for yeelight products. I have to admit that this is the best product I have ever used for Yeelight series. The music mode is one of the best modes for yeelight station. I am currently putting this ambient table lamp for office, and it is pretty good as a working accompany. Their RGB light could also be used in gaming room setups that I am definitely gonna buy more to build my RGB Rooooom.

My original review is below, but I had to drop the rating. I have two yeelights and basically every day they would drop off my network and need to be deleted and readded with the qr code inside the manual. They add just fine and then sometime between adding them and getting home from work, they're off the network. Turns out, if you add them using the code just below the qr code, they join the network and stay on for a bit longer but still eventually drop off.This light isnt meant to be alone, but I started with one. If you watch product video you will see some amazing possibilities. You could create custom lighting for whatever your situation is and there is even a community of people who have designed their own lighting setups that are offered to be shared. I have one light though so my review will not be able to cover the entire scope of this product. But, for full disclosure, I liked this so much I decided to purchase a Yeelight Matrix to pair with this. These are a bit pricey so to build out a full setup, there would be a large initial investment.Unboxing:The accompanying box is very nice, something youd expect from a high end electronic. Contents are minimal, the light, a base, a power cable and setup instructions.Setup:Very easy. Plug the unit in and connect base to light. There is a required app to download and I cant say I was a big fan of having to create an account and provide my wifi password in order to get it to connect to my network. But I'm sure it's tied to functionality and connectivity between devices. Also allows for app connectivity to do all the fancy stuff its advertised to do.Functionality:Within a few minutes I had the light running and flowing to the music.What I liked:Easy setup, light looks great, potential.What I didnt like:App doesnt stop you from trying to do things you cant. Certain features are tied to certain lights and setups and nothing seemed to try to stop me from assigning color options that simply werent available.

It's great at what it does, providing a neat little light to enhance your space.Things to know, it is very flexible. You can use the app to display many of the presets, you can draw on it, there are 25 lights and you can choose the color of each light so the design possibilities are pretty much endless. There are a bunch of presets, which I use 90 percent of the time. Even the flat panel displays are highly customizable.It seems the limit is six cubes, but to unlock most of the customizable features requires 4 of the matrix cubes in a row. That includes the clock, minimum 4 matrix cubes in a row.The spotlight is a spotlight, if you point it at where it can shine into your eyes it is pretty annoying.I ordered 3 bases, and one of the bases wouldn't connect no matter how many times I tried, I attempted contacting customer support, here and e-mailing the company itself and got zero replies. So make sure you connect and check your items before the return window closes because I have gotten no customer support.Overall good little cubes. I like them and will keep the working ones.Edit : The company got in touch with me and helped me troubleshoot my connection problem with the one base, seems it and my ASUS router weren't talking for some strange reason, which is not unusual for my router. I swapped to my other WIFI network and with their help was able to resolve the problem. I now have 3 sets of these lights, displays,clocks,signs? Not sure what to label them as, but I have 3 set up in my house, 1 as a clock in the kitchen, 1 as a name banner in the office and 1 as a display light bar in the living room. I really like these products!

This is a Matter compatible Desk light! Pairing with HomeKit was SO easy, and it also works with Alexa perfectly for me! This kit has several options including a dot matrix looking light, a diffused light, which came with the starter, and a spotlight module. It's versatile in that you can stack the cubes in any order and they can be vertical or horizontal. The app allows you to set the configuration so that the many cool effects adapt to the configuration that it's in. While it is nice to be able to use my voice assistants to turn in on and off, you'll want to use the app to use the MANY effect options available. The modular way that these connect is really cool. You have the base, and then each cube connects through a magnetic connection. Again, you can put them in any order. The lights can sync to Aura on your pc and the music setting can react to music as well! This is one of the coolest LED lights I've seen, and it would make a GREAT Christmas present for people who have everything! The modules are not inexpensive, but you can catch them on sale from time to time! Can't recommend this kit enough!

I was excited to see what this cube was all about after seeing the detail used in packaging (very Apple like). The display is small, a little less than 4"x4". The app asks for a lot of permissions that didn't make me feel very comfortable with the product. After setting it up, the app asked to update, but repeatedly failed. Without the app, the display is very generic. Even with the app (which still hadn't been successfully able to update), the display is underwhelming. I wouldn't recommend it as its very small and very overpriced.
