Bright and compact!
This light works great mounted on the bottom picatinny rail of my new Keltec Sub 2000 Gen 2 9mm carbine. I mounted it as far forward as possible and when I place my left hand on the fore stock I can easily hit the on switch up or toggle the temp on feature by pressing down and holding as long as I want the light on. It uses commonly found batteries also. Since I mounted the light on the botton rail I can still fold my Keltec in half and stick it in my Dell laptop computer bag, along with exra hi cap Glock mags. I shot about 160 rounds of 9mm and the light stayed secure to the picstinny rail and the light works great. Recoil didnt bother it.

It probably the best CHEAP light one can buy
Yes, it is the BEST ***CHEAP*** light you can buy. Fits perfectly, I haven't broken it yet so fairly durable but I also haven't beaten it like I do in tests, I am afraid it will break and i like this little (well pretty big) guy.Remember, this is a cheap gun. The hinge that turns it on/off is very loose, and the "always on" position is the up position. So when you fire a gun, even the slightest recoil jiggles the switch into on "on" position. I didn't notice the first time at the range. So if you just want a cheap light that will work for home defense, this is perfect (especially if it "stays on once you start firing" for newer/less experienced shooters to ensure you and clearly see what you are pointing at)It gets the job done, it is good for home defense, but beyond that I would just pony up and get the $100+ lightsYou truly get what you pay for when it comes to anything firearm related

Fits Taurus PT111 G2
This light fits in the Taurus PT111 G2 near perfectly. It's a bit long in the front but it sits close to the trigger guard so you can easily switch the light off/on with your trigger finger. The only negative is that it uses a CR2 battery, NOT a CR123. Hence, the runtime is comparatively reduced. It has an adjustable fit via removable tabs and set screw allowing it to work on many different pistols.

Battery life sucks...and plastic switch breaks easy...
It’s a good light...not quite 400 lumen..more like 200 lumen...it mounts sturdy on rail (good) but it’s not dependable for harsh condition or being dropped...definite in not for a rifle...Handgun on a pedestal or night stand...YES!! But not quite for rugged use..it will break...I returned it and got a replacement then sold it...it works but not for my Run and Gun Training....but price is a good if you’re on a budget...

Like any light on the pistol
This is a backup light. Like any light on the pistol, those are for backup, the main light should be another flashlight. For the price this is great, the switch works ok. this is my favorite light of the sub $50 range. I put it on all guns I could fit it on (AR15, Shotgun, carbine, several handguns), it holds up well!As other reviews said, the switch is a little better on a pistol than on the AR, for the AR a button switch ( e.g. https://www.amazon.com/Orion-Tactical-Flashlight-Pressure-Switch/dp/B00BNFDQMU) make just more sense. It's a great light for the money, my only gripe is the CR2 battery, it's rather rare and kind of expensive compared to CR123s.A cr123 does fit in, however is too long so you can not close it>Again, great value light!

Nice light. Has a couple things that can be improved but not bad!
seems like a nice product plenty bright! I like the momentary and on/off feature. no nonsense modes or strobes... how a weapon light should be! . The paddles do seem just a tad cheap. but they function well. time will tell for durability. one thing I did not care to see was on the head of the light there is a split ring at the base of the threads used to make contact now it can’t easily fall out but if you loose this the light will not function with out it. over all nice light . Put this on an AR pistol chambered in 5.56 just be hind the a2 flash sup. Hopefully it won’t get beat up to bad. I’ve only fired about 10 rounds . But no prob I will update in the future but over all I would recommend this . Especially for just a home defense gun. Not if your pushing your gear to the absolute limits in the field every day. for that use go with Surefire or stream light which I do have and will say they are awesome but they are expensive. This light fits the bill!

Still works after range time, very bright, terrible battery performance so far
The light has held up on a 9mm for 200 rounds, which is good. Of course I hope it can last 10,000, but this is a $40 light.Size is great, switch is pretty good, constant on switch is very positive and tactile. The light is very bright and the pattern is good. The circuitry allows for a near constant light strength until its out of battery. And now for the bad - the Panasonic Industrial Lithium CR2 battery lasted 15 minutes tops. I watched it die. Its possible they are counterfeit, which wouldnt be at all surprising as genuine CR2s aren't cheap (relatively speaking), but I'm sure there is a healthy enough markup to eat the cost as well despite "just" being $40. The other possibility is that this LED ate that battery that fast and this is as good as it gets. The only way I knew how fast it died is because I was using it as a flashlight after a range session to see if it worked, and then I accidentally started doing some actual work with what I was illuminating and less than 15 minutes later it died in a very characteristic battery-no-longer-meets-minimum-voltage kind of way. It still turns on and dies immediately, I am sure this is the battery and not a failing LED.It was marked to expire in October 2025. These batteries have a shelf life of 10 years, meaning 2 years passed at ~3% a year for a mediocre genuine CR2 battery at most. Maybe its a bum battery, maybe it was shorting in transit, but odds are its fake or the flashlight is inefficient. I usually wouldn't get so anal about batteries but for a $40 light a single quality battery will run me ~$2 to $3 each (or much more in a pinch). The worst possible situation of all is the light is allowing the battery to waste its power at an unreasonable rate with the light off as I've had this for 2 weeks tops.I'll buy a pair of batteries and try to use one up as fast as I can to get a better idea. If it seems to last for much longer, ill let the other fresh battery sit in it for a week or two and see how it performs then which should rule out some major potential issues. I'll update this review then.I do wish it used a CR123 and there quite clearly is space for that if they just cut the battery spring by 2/3. It reminds me of a battery spring in an old D cell Maglite, except that one was holding 3+ giant batteries together. For all I know a CR123 will simply fit in this as it is but I dont have one on hand.

Great product for a great price.
Works great so far. Fits like a glove on my new Canik TP9 V2 pistol. The controls are easy to operate. And you can't beat the price. I bought this based on the experience I had with another product from UTG (an inexpensive but solid red dot sight) and after reading a review of it in a recent issue of Handgun News.

Impressive for $36!!
Fits my M&P9 2.0 5” pistol perfectly! Appears to be good build quality. Switch works and has a nice “click” when it’s turned on/off. Light is bright with a nice focused center but blends to large overall area.I was debating buying a TLR-1 but there’s something items I don’t see as worth the price. For $36 each I can buy 4 of these or one TLR-1. Is it not as good as a higher end light? Yes. Does it meet my expectations for what I’ll use it for? Absolutely!

Amazing light
We turned on the light in my basement with the lights out. This little light was enough to illuminate the entire room, approx 900 Sq ft. Took it to the range and with the light mounted we shot about 400 rounds. The light stayed on the gun and still worked.

Good light to own
I’ve had this for a little longer than a year now. Its a really good light. I do have an outside the waistband holster that works with it. I have mounted on a 40 s&w and have not had any problems with the light. All I can say is it has been a good light for me. Would recommend to any one.

Great light, awesome price
Love the light; have bought two so far, one for my home defense shotgun and one for my FNS 40. The only issue is it only grabs the center of the rail, and on the FN that section is milled out for the serial number. Can't remember what I did with the package to replace the pic rail adapter for the offset one

Works great on Sig P226 P229, and XDm compact.
For the price I am shocked the thing works fine for me but it does. I like the switch system, and it fits anything I have put it on. I do wish it had a quick disconnect system, but,, again for the price it works great. Put a good QD system on it and its 5 stars all day. Oh, do not look into it when its on, it could be bad.
