Fantastic neutering recovery suit
This suit has been amazing for the recovery of our Bichon boy from his neutering operation. It is soft, easy to put on, secure and covers the most important region to prevent licking. So no cone of shame required. He was able to sleep well and recover quickly. We got the Small blue camo size as he is a bigger Bichon Frise - 10.5kg and 46cm in length neck to tail, 35cm neck. It fits perfectly. The cotton is thick high quality with a slight stretch and washed well. It stays in place and he likes it so much it is now a pyjama suit for bedtimes ❤️🐶❤️Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Absolutely brilliant!
Our Lab had to have surgery to have her uterus removed and she was doomed to the 'cone of shame' for a while. After a few days I felt it would be nice to let her have the cone off in the day and just have it on for piece of mind at night. I have one of the inflatable ones but didn't trust she wouldn't be able to get to her wound or shaved areas were she had injections/fluids. I decided to look online for something and came across the Suitical recovery suit.I spent quite a bit of time contemplating which size to get - either Medium Plus or Large - and trying to measure her. She is a small, slender Lab at around 26kg, so I decided to go for the Medium Plus.It actually fit her pretty perfectly! The material (mostly cotton with a bit of lycra) - is pretty stretchy. New on, it was very hugging, but not too tight that she would be uncomfortable. The important part was that it was stretched over her everywhere apart from the tummy area where her wound was, which had a little roominess. So that was great as I didn't want it to be tight and rub there. She was a little unsure what she had one her at first but soon go used to it and could tell she was so much more comfortable than being in that big ol' plastic cone! So we kept her in this suit for around 1 week with wearing the cone at night, then another week with no cone at all. It's been absolutely brilliant. Washed it twice and no issues there either. Also over time of her wearing it it's loosened up just a bit for her. After the'd been wearing it for a while or sleeping in it, I did have to just shimmy it up a bit but that's no big deal. The poppers at the back make it really easy to just unpop for when they want to go out for their business. You can kind of roll it up to keep the back bits out the way. I found there is 1 popper underneath and a strap with popper on inside. What I did was tuck the back parts inside then you can pop the strap bit around - although the back flaps could still come out if the shook or ran about enough so not too sure. I looked to see if there were instructions for their recommendation of how to use it but there wasn't any in the packet. Again - no big deal though!I couldn't comment on how long this suit would last with prolonged use, but it's been great for the 2 weeks she's had it on and if she ever needs it again (hopefully not!) then we have it ready to go. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another either!

Comfortable and well-designed
This is soft and stretchy so my sweet beagle doesn't mind wearing it. I especially love: 1)the pocket that allows for a diaper/nappy pad to be inserted and 2)the way the rear is designed so that it goes *around* the tail rather than having to put the tail through it (which makes my poor girl crazy). To me this makes it easier to put on/off and to check on the pad, and I feel like it's more adjustable/customizable for animals of various shapes. It is just all around well made and well thought out. For reference, my dog is a female beagle, about 15kg/33lb and she was on the cusp of Medium and Small Plus. I bought both and the Medium is a bit too big (tried shrinking it in the laundry but it didn't change size significantly), so I'd suggest a Small Plus for pups of a similar size.

Unfortunately not great for my dog
The suit feels well made and soft, although it did not fit my dog comfortably. I planned to use this on my little man after he was castrated and when I tried it on him before the operation all seemed okay. It was a bit tight, but that was to be expected. Fot reference, my dog is a 3kg chihuahua and his back measures 29cm, so I purchased a 3xs.After the surgery however, since the area was swollen and painful, it was far more difficult to get it on him (due to the fasteners going around his bottom area) and I could tell he really wasn't comfortable. The turtle neck design also seemed to distress him, as his throat was very sensitive after the surgery.Ultimately, I purchased a new suit that fastens along the back, which my dog much prefers and finds far more comfortable. I still think the suit is well made and would likely be a great improvement to a cone for most dogs though, it is just unfortunate it didn't work out so well for me and my little one.

Very good quality.
Easy to put on and good quality material. We’ve got an 8kg westie and the extra small fits him perfectly.

Very well made
This is a good bit of kit that does the job well. Dog is a smallish 23k lab and we went for M+. It’s fits well - perhaps a bit baggy on the rear so we could maybe have got away with M as they do say size down. Dog finds it infinitely preferable to The Cone Of Shame. When we undo it for walks/ toiletting it clips up nicely. I’ve also washed it a few times when my youngest kept forgetting to undo it before he let her into the garden and it washes well on 40 degrees. It says don’t tumble but I did on a very low heat and it was fine. All in all very good.
