Fascinating
Malcolm X's autobiography reads like a modern version of St. Augustine's 'confessions' - a brilliant, vivid account of a life of crime and debauchery turned into a dedication to a cause. I found the first half of Malcolm X's life particularly incredible, but the whole account, culminating in his trip to Mecca, is fascinating whether or not you agree with his politics.

Condition of Received book
The book was very poor condition looked very old had a pen mark inside the page looked a very dirty yellow colour took to long to arrive and the front cover was different to the original order cover so for that reason i don't rate the condition but the book itself is a good book to read.

EXCELLENT, BRILLIANT! THIS BOOK IS A TRANSFORMATIONAL READ
"The struggle of the American black man is international... I said that on the American racial level, we had to approach the black man's struggle against the white man's racism as a human problem, that we had to forget hypocritical politics and propaganda. I said that both races, as human beings, had the obligation, the responsibility, of helping to correct America's human problem. The well-meaning white people, I said, had to combat actively and directly, the racism in other white people. And the black people had to build within themselves much greater awareness that along with equal rights there had to be the bearing of equal responsibilities... I tell sincere white people, 'Work in conjunction with us - each of us working among our own kind.' Let sincere white individuals find all other white people they can who feel as they do - and let them form their own all-white groups, to work trying to convert other white people who are thinking and acting so racist. Let sincere whites go and teach non-violence to white people!" - Malcolm XThe Autobiography of Malcolm X with the assistance of Alex Haley
