Pros: Great variety of lighting options, very bright.Cons: The battery box is not sealed properly.I love this head torch as a work light; it sits comfortably on the head and can go very bright if you’re not concerned about battery life. The switch is easy to find with one hand and the LEDs can be tilted down a long way for close-up work.I’m not sure I’d be happy taking this out for night walks though, just in case it rained. Although there is a rubbery sealing gasket around the battery box, the rear cover is slightly bowed, and this means the corners of the cover do not press up against the seal. Greater care in manufacturing or a redesign is called for, I think.The fabric straps are a little fiddly to adjust but this will only need to be done once as they seem to hold in place once set. It’s worth taking the time to adjust them properly as a comfortable fit can be achieved despite the lamp being quite heavy for a head torch.In its favour, the lamp takes standard batteries that are easily replaced, and it does not need a dedicated charger as a standard USB one can be used.I’ve knocked a star off for the bad seal but don’t let this put you off if you’re only likely to be using it indoors or in good weather.

Definitely worth the money very bright

Great head torch, walk the Dog where there is no light at night , very powerful with plenty of settings, and battery lasts well, I have a more expensive head torch and it’s as good as that one.

Good torch with limitationsSet on no1 setting all lights on Tested twice maximum life of just over 3 three & a half hours obviously if used on another setting it with less lights illuminated it would last longer. When used on no1 setting it is very good light in your close surroundingI am not impressed with the long rang illumination, after about 20-25 metres it is not good. It would appear to be a working light with the limitations on what setting you use for the battery life. It would be quite good for walking the dog plenty of light to clean up.The head strap is well made & comfortable to wear. I do like the red light on the back of the battery case you could select 3 settings, off, Flashing or illuminated a good safety feature when walking.Other people have commented that it eat the batteries, but it also takes a long time to charge on my mains socket USB. It takes over 5hrs to charge.I have not used a fast charging, but it will improve the charging time.The Sellers claim. The upgraded high-quality battery supports 3-hour fast charging, providing 7-8 hours of use time.I would not dispute the fast-charging time because I have not charged with a fast charger. They should not give the impression that the lamp would last 7 to 8 hours. Most people would think that the 7 to 8 hours was on no 1 setting all lights on, they would be disappointed.I will award the lamp 4 stars because I do like it.
