An underrated Disney Classic...
The charming Aristocats is based in Paris in the year 1910. Here a retired old rich opera singer decides to give her fortune away to her beautiful cat Duchess ( voiced by Eva Gabor) and her kittens, but their jealous butler Edgar comes up with a plan as he drugs and then kidnaps the cats leaving them in the countryside. Luckily for them with the help of a streetwise and independent tomcat named Thomas O'Malley ( voiced by Phil Harris) they eventually get back home especially after meeting some of his good friends like the swinging' Scat Cat ( voiced by Scatman Crothers) and try to foil Edgar's plans once and for all.A very entertaining and edgy post-Walt Disney's death animated movie with a couple of nice jazzy tunes like the memorable "Everybody wants to be a cat", good voice acting and some terrific animation for it's time. Not one of the greatest Disney animated movies but a cult Disney animated fave and one of the few gems of it's day that works well, highly recommended for all ages 5⭐️

Misleading!
First of all item did not arrive. Then I understand from reviews that it is a Region 1 item although sold in UK and Europe which is Region 2. This should be clearly specified in description because it becomes an useless purchase and waste of money.

American DVD not able to be played by European DVD player
I can’t actually rate the DVD because I couldn’t see it. I live in Europe and apparently, American DVD’s can’t be played on European DVD players. Basically, I was really excited about seeing one of my favorite childhood movies and was very sad when it didn’t work
