I was uneducated about what "Diatomaceous" meant so honestly, I just skipped over it. I assumed it was a buzz word for something that had to do with antimicrobial. When I received the heavy package I had no idea what it was. I had ordered a bath mat but, my lackadaisical product review did not prepare me for the slab of stone in my mail. I was very sketchy about it once I figured out what it was. But, I am terrible at returning things so I figured I may as well try it. I ordered it because by partner always gets out of the shower sopping wet and our mats never seemed to dry thoroughly. So, in the spirit of science experimentation I took a shower and got out sopping wet. I returned to the bathroom about ten minutes later and the mat was completely dry. After about two uses I got used to stepping on something solid rather than something plush and I don't notice the difference anymore. I recommend it!

this is a great product. very low tech but does what it says it will do. i use it after shower..... just step on it and it sucks the bottom of your feet dry..... when i say dry, i mean dry. 'amazing' is certainly an overused term, but quite justified in this case

This is the best shower mat ever
This is the best shower mat ever. You don't have to worry about the sogginess of a regular bath mat and also leaving water footprints around the bath room since these dry your feet within seconds.
