It’s lovely idea to get the car every day but they break without a touch unfortunately.

My daughter loved this. Cute squishy toys. So much better than the usual chocolate filled calendars.

This is a nice alternative, the cars are a cheap plastic but my child likes them and plays with them so all good

The media could not be loaded.  Things I liked - The calendar is presented really well and looks very festive from the outside. Each window is in order from top left being day 1 and bottom right day 24 so it's easy for children to know which window is next.Things I didn't like - The cars are very small and plasticky. Some of the stickers are not stuck properly or are mis-aligned. The play mat included is very thin and bunches up if you try to pull the cars back on it.I was also disappointed that none of the cars are christmas themed. I thought at least car 24 would be, but it was a police truck. All the vehicles are just random.At time of review it's priced at £25.99 which is too expensive for what it is. If you need a last minute advent calendar it will do the job but I would be disappointed if I spent full price on this.

An advent calendar for kids filled with not chocolate but a different toy car for each day leading up to Christmas: it’s a playable treat that continues to satisfy long beyond the festive season. Brilliant!A bit hesitant to ruin the calendar for December so I’ve only opened the one slot to be able to do this review but I’m impressed with the little fire engine that’s popped out. It’s a small vehicle, well made with no scratchy bits and the printed stickers are adhered neatly with a good level of detail.The best thing is, the cars are friction-powered, pull-back cars and really zippy when placed on a smooth, hard surface (I wasn't expecting them to be so fast!). There’s a thin sheet of printed plastic to play on but I suspect this won’t be used as it’s so flimsy (not fussed about this).Quite a pricey alternative compared to your average chocolate advent calendar BUT given the fun/excitement/playability aspect and the fact that the cars are nice quality really (better than party bag toys), I think this could be worth the splurge! Keep it in your basket in any case, the price may drop...

I got this for my 5 year old daughter and just gave it to her. She loves it! The squishies were cute and a nice variety. Overall, love the idea of this calendar, every days until christmas, making up stories everyday with the little ones and a different squishy toy every day!
