AndonstarADSM301 5 inch Screen 1080P HDMI/AV Digital Microscope for Repair Soldering Tool bga SMT

I am using this product for working on small circuit boards. It works well. I have not tried to record any videos yet.

This is a huge upgrade to working with a magnifying glass. I have already spotted an accidental solder bridge on a board I was never able to get working. Reading the laser markings on the back of ICs is ridiculously easy. The image quality is very very good and even with digital zoom, they have managed to ensure a very clean and precise image. This tool is more expensive than some of the others out there, but I would buy it again. Easy to set up, easy to use and very stable. The only flimsy part is the focus knob - does not feel like great quality but it works perfectly. The rear knob for raising and lowering is mechanically rigid and feels like a great quality item. The stand is very well made. Overall, many thumbs up!

This product is worth every penny when doing repairs, so why am I giving it a 4 star (is 4.5 not allowed???) is because of the short and multiple sites for the light and screen. It would be nice to have them combined from one power source, and my cord keeps snagging on stuff, but that is such a minor nitpick, the unit is great otherwise and I'd you aren't in a cramped environment like I am, the cord issue won't affect you at all

For the cost, this is an awesome little microscope. I am using it to evaluate microcellular foams and it performs very well as a small, portable development asset. The software is a little weak and the PC doesn't respond well to plugging it in for some reason, probably due to some power setting on the USB system, but it can be made to work. Its stable and takes great photos with the built in screen, remote control and an SD card. If a higher precision version comes out or one has a more flexible gooseneck mount with built in ring lighting for use at arbitrary angles, I'll be first in line to purchase one, even at a higher price. Kudos to the development team behind this little powerhouse!

I search for weeks before choosing this microscope. I got it had issues with the USB port on this unit. I got a replacement and it happened again. I wasn’t happy. The company reached out to get more details. In my mind they were one of these sellers that don’t care. Well, they do care. They listen and they resolve issues. They aren’t like the other sellers at all! The overall picture quality is very good and it is not pixelated. I was very happy with it but the USB port is very sensitive and will get loose on this model. Don’t plug and un plug it. Now that I know that’s the weakness I will leave it in and only unplug the cable from the outlet. If you have any issues rest assured that you will be dealing with a very caring seller who values your business. Despite this one flaw, they have my business. Now that I know what a good company they are I will be buying the next model they come out with.

Bought this to work on electronics and boards. Works great for people with failing eye sight. i mounted it to a swing arm, so i cant really comment on the stand but the scope is great.

Got this based on a youtube video recommending the brand. This makes things SO MUCH EASIER to read chip numbers compared to a magnifying glass. I use it all the time. Very convenient to just power on, use, and turn off. No need for an application on my phone or computer. So far, the image quality has met or beat my expections.The attached lights help quite a bit.Nice that this operates on a simple USB power source, no need to fumble around with another power adapter. At this point, USB power is quite ubiquitous.If you cant get what you want in focus with the lens adjustment knob, use the back knob to move the whole thing up and down.Complaints:- The screen seems a bit loose.- The memory card is impossible to take out without a tool, assuming you have clipped nails.- The memory card needs to be 32gb or less. The on screen errors are hopeless only figured this out with trial and error. Lucky the 32gb cards are like $3, but pain to go hunt one down if you already have a larger card laying around.

Ich kann mich meinen "Vorrednern" nur anschließen. Ich habe mehrere Mikroskope im Preissegment unter 200€ ausprobiert, jedoch hat keines der Modelle mit inkludiertem Bildschirm brauchbare Ergebnisse geliefert. Pixeliger Bildschirm, unscharfes Bild, unzureichende optische Vergrößerung da die Angaben meißt nur über den digitalen Zoom erreicht wurden - zu Lasten der Bildqualität.Das Andonstar ADSM301 hingegen hat mich sofort überzeugt. Alleine die optische Vergößerung liefert für Platinenprüfung und Lötarbeiten an SMD Bauteilen eine für diesen Preis hervorragende Vergößerung und der inkludierte Bildschirm reicht für die meisten Anwendungen sehr gut aus. Wer eine größere Darstellung benötigt, kann sich das Bild über den eingebauten HDMI-Port auch auf einem größeren Bildschirm darstellen lassen. Die eingebauten LEDs leuchten den Arbeitsbereich sehr gut aus, lediglich die Schwanenhälse könnten etwas länger sein... das ist diesem Preissegment allerdings jammern auf hohem Niveau! Die Kabelfernbedienung ist sehr praktisch zum Ein-/Ausschalten und schnellen verändern der Beleuchtungsstärke. Dast Stativ ist robust und stabil... der Standfuß war anfänglich etwas im Weg, konnte von mir jedoch mit einer ausgeschnittenen Holzplatte in der selben Höhe quasi "versenkt" werden.Die IR-Fernbedienung, sowie die Möglichkeit direkt Fotos oder Videos aufzunehmen habe ich noch nie gebraucht, somit kann ich keine Aussage dazu treffen... ist aber sicher für vielen Anwendungen nützlich und in dem Preissegment lobenswert.Alles in Allem bin ich mit dem Kauf mehr als zufrieden und kann es aus meiner Erfahrung heraus nur wärmstens empfehlen!!
