It’s a hard based cream but it is effective at dry skin and is very good at making my dry feet soft and crack free. I use it straight after a shower and it sinks in very well. It lasts a long time too.

Pro: it's not toxic to dogs Con: it's still not great as it's 100% a form of fat therefore required vet urgent treatment to make her throw it up Still, good to know it's not poisonous for dogs at all in small amounts.

Melts ok but really grainy and strange in texture.

In passato ho utilizzato burro di karitè non raffinato e ho deciso di provare quello raffinato. Il burro si presenta bianco e senza alcun odore. La confezione contiene 100 g di prodotto, da non confondersi con gli usuali 100 ml utilizzate per le normali creme, e il burro di karitè essendo "pesante" può far apparire la confezione piccola, ma rispetto alle creme, il quantitativo utilizzato è nettamente inferiore. Ovviamente è allo stato solido; essendo puro al 100% è normale, ma basta riscaldarlo con le dita e si ammorbidisce immediatamente. Una volta ammorbidito ha una texture liscia, mentre quello non raffinato è piuttosto granuloso. Ottimo per ammorbidire la pelle, l'ho usato per le mani e l'ho trovato meno untuoso di quanto mi aspettassi. Per me però che la sua principale virtù è come lenitivo e cicatrizzante. Lo utilizzo sulla pelle irritata, ad esempio naso e labbra durante un forte raffreddore. Appena applicato toglie immediatamente il pizzicore dell'irritazione e successivamente ne affretta la guarigione. Consigliatissimo.

Ich habe einen Fußbalsam daraus hergestellt. Der ist super geworden. Die im Becher übrig gebliebene Sheabutter habe ich auf meinen Beinen verteilt. Das ergab total weiche Haut.

Ottimo per chi necessita un idratazione completa..lo uso soprattutto la notte perché la mia pelle tende a seccarsi e tirare. Di giorno risulta troppo grasso e pesante ma è perfetto per quando arriva il freddo e iniziano a screpolarsi mani e bocca..non ha profumo ed essendo puro non scatena allergie..il barattolo dura parecchio,l ho comprato 3mesi fa e usandolo tutte le sere ne ho ancora metà!
