It took a while to arrive. Its a nice size. It was in the house for days before a cat went into it. I'm not sure if it smelled funny initially. Who knows. I'm sure the cat will appreciate it during the winter.UPDATE - apart from one investigating visit from both cats, neither will use it as an igloo or as a normal bed. It's frustrating, I've tried catnip but no joy. I've never had this happen before. It's been months in the house, and tried in different locations.

Came within time I have very big cat and fits well my cat normally takes time to come round to new things but took to this within a day or so

My small, elderly, female cat is being bullied by next door's larger and much younger male. When she fled indoors the safe place she used to dive into was the gap between the pillows on the spare double bed and then deep down between the sheets. Not ideal! I hoped the enclosed space in the new cat bed would give her the comfort and security she needs, and that's exactly what's happened. No more sheets with muddy paw-prints to wash. Very pleased.
