Third time is the charm
Original set lasted 2 weeks. Next set lasted about a week from Amazon. First two kept crumbling around the edges. This set lasted the longest. Still going strong at 4 weeks. Huge variations in quality. Be careful because when you return these you only get $6 back from the total of about $10 you spend. Very uneven quality.

Dry Rotten Crutche Tips. Not Happy
The media could not be loaded. I am a Polio victim and always in need of some type of prostetics to get around. I've been using crutches for most of my life. I've been purchasing crutche tips for a long time and have never seen anything like what's going on now. I've just changed these tips 1 week ago, and they are so dried rotted till they crumble up and break apart, get slippery, and throw me off balance until I almost fall. I am now 69.5 years old and have never seen this happen before. This is my first time facing a problem like this in my life. I am not a happy camper. Please stop selling damaged goods that can hurt someone.Ms. C

Tough durable product, for the buyer who always uses crutches.
These are the crutch tips to buy if you want quality tips that last. I've been on crutches for over 10 years. I use them daily because its easy to run up to the store without putting my prosthetic leg on and then taking it off to drive, then back on etc. These tips last over a year and most of the time its the metal insert that wears the inside out before the actual tread on the tip wears down. I have solved this problem by buying a really cheap bicycle inner tube from Wal-Mart, cost like 5 bucks. I cut it up into little "double strips" , because it's a tube lol, and slip them down into the tip. I usually put two, It makes a little buffer between my metal crutch and the metal insert inside the crutch tip. These last a long time.....well worth the money.

Self destructed in less than 5 min. of use
I have had crutches for over 64 years. It is very hard to find the large crutch tips, as most vendors stock the little cane tips. That being said, in less than 5 minutes of walking the outer rim completely broke apart and left a rounded ball without any traction. I have always sought out Guardian tips.... but these are nowhere near the quality that they used to be.

Fit well but seem to wear out quickly
I typically have to replace them every month. I'd understand more if I was outside more and using them on concrete but 90% of their use is indoors.

GOOD ITEM
For the price I would think these would last. I use my crutches most of the time and before I know it the metal washer is coming out of the bottom. I always use wood crutches for over 60 years and it seems things are being made cheaper.

Good grip of floor
They really do a great job of not slipping on a smooth floor.

Do not last
The crutch tips have been on for less than 1 month and already the edges are breaking off. They have been used generally on smooth surfaces and not even full time as a wheelchair is used for distances. They should last longer than this!
