I wear lots of tights, and I'm always on the hunt for ones that fit. I need to lose SOME weight but the way I'm built it's just always going to be a problem. I'm rocking 26" thighs and I got the 5-6X. Measure yours and use that as context for my review!Material: Out of the package these are whisper soft, and the outer feel is nylon/stocking material 100%. The interior has a substantial plush, velvety lining. Out of the package they had a slight soapy (?) musky (?) odor but it wasn't unpleasant? I ran them through the wash and they still retained some of it. Who knows, honestly? Amazon warehouses are, I'm sure, a nightmare box of smells.Construction: No control top, no reinforcements anywhere. Same material from waist to toe, all fleece lined inner with nylon stocking outer. The top features double seams in the rear for extra support and a massive, soft lay-flat waistband that is easily among the most comfortable I've ever contended with.Appearance/Opacity: Matte black, minimal sheen. No denier rating on packaging but by appearance they're similar to 100D. They will hide 100% of leg hair regardless of how thick or dark and they will hide tattoos fairly well if not entirely. Truly opaque, in most lighting I'm pretty sure nearly zero of my skin tone appears through these.Fit: They just about glide on, probably owing to the minimal stretching they can/need to do. These sit fairly close to true size when not being worn and stretch much less than some tights I have owned. Still, they do stretch and they do not bunch or bag in any major way - some minor bagginess noted behind the knees and ankle, but only when bent. The waist band does not roll or dig and sits well above my belly button.In general wear these are super appropriate for winter time, but they aren't stiflingly warm and they definitely aren't locked into that. These would work just fine in an air conditioned office, for instance. They're breathable and they don't shift around or fall out of place. These are honestly so comfortable I just find excuses to wear them, even around the house. They're durable enough that even with near daily wear for the last few weeks and wash cycles to match they still hold up. Some minor exterior pilling but no runs or picks or anything close. Easily worth the price.As a final side note, I have to nominate these for funniest packaging of all time. They come vacuum packed into a flat, vinyl record-sized square piece of stiff plastic. It hisses when you open it. It's delightful and I hope the 4 more I ordered right away come together like some sort of bizarre record collection.Overall, as soon as I tried these on I ordered 4 more pairs in the other colors. Highly recommend.

I received my tights within about 2 days of ordering them. They were packaged nicely. They were in a flat, Amazon bag and the tights were wrapped in their own plastic bag, with a piece of cardboard, so the tights laid flat (just like you get when you purchase pantyhose). The tights are VERY nice. They are thick and I could tell they would be warm. I am 5'7", 230lbs. I ordered a size 4x. I probably could have gone one size down, but I'm never really sure about sizing when it comes to Amazon items. Still, the tights were not huge on me. My only issue is that the tights were not a hunter green, which I was looking for; they are more of an evergreen. The tights on the left (in the pic) are the Amazon tights. The tights on the right are ones that I received from a store for plus size women. The color was just what I wanted, but the sizing was a joke! I'm going to give them to my girlfriend who wears a size XL! She might not even be able to wear them. So, the Amazon tights were really nice and that's why I gave them 5 stars, just not what I was looking for in the color green. However, I will be purchasing in other colors.

Update on warmth: It kept me warm in a foot of snow. Also no rolling up problems.It was comfy. It could be more stretchy to be honest but it has better stretchy than anything store bought in queen size locally. The measurements are snugger than I expected but still manageable. I wish it was more plush/fleece inside. Warm. Will update on cooler/colder weather to see how it fairs. Color is pretty accurate. Thickness is okay but could be more thick with more plush/fleece material without taking from stretch yield. So far would buy again despite criticism.

This was a great addition to my dress for an outdoor wedding in Florida during the month of February. It was perfect, nice and confortable. Not too hot, not too cold. Great quality.

I was so happy with these. I attended an outside wedding to which I needed to wear a dress and it had snowed that morning. These looked good and were easy to put on. They were warm and I was quite comfortable the whole night. I would buy them again!

Very warm!!! And run true-to-size!!! Plus sized ladies know that the "struggle is REAL!" when trying to find hosiery that actually "fits"!!! Often times the fit is just "off' in some regard. Too long. Too short. Not enough stretch. Snags as soon as you look at it. Doesn't pull up fully to your crotch. (Ugh!!) Rolls underneath your FUPA. Etc.... No worries with these babies right here! Perfect fit...(for me). Perfect strength while being warm and not see through or thin. I would definitely buy these again!!!

Read reviews saying they are "big girl friendly" so I bought these specifically for that reason. However, they are big belly friendly, NOT THICK THIGH friendly. I'm between a size 16 and 18, but I carry most of my weight it my thighs. These were such a hassle to put on and I ordered a size up. Deff recommend getting two sizes up if you're thicker, lower. They are soft and warm (but not like "heat inducing") where they weren't stretched to their limit. Color is exactly as shown and they're not see through.

I was a bit worried when I took these tights out of the package because they looked extremely tiny, but much to my relief, they are very stretchy and somewhat true to size. They fit snugly, but I am on the lower end of the size range I ordered. If your hips/booty measurement is on the larger end of the size range or you have larger thighs, I strongly encourage you to size up one size.The tights are thick, opaque and have soft fleece lining. I have not worn them at length but they appear to be strong and not likely to snag easily. They are comfortable.

I am a pear shaped size 20 bottom, usually 1x top but 2x if it's non stretch material bc my arms are chubby. I'm 275 and 5'5". I got 3-4x and they are comfortable, like curl up feet tucked under you and no belly dig and they don't roll down. The thighs are stretched as far as what would be comfortable. And the waist as well. I have a 45inch waist at my belly button, 55 inch hips. They sit at my belly button and I have a long torso. I will also add that as a plus size woman I don't subscribe to the notion of being "smoothed out" or being "held in" by anything I am wearing. If I ordered again I would prob do 5-6x tbh so that I could just pull them on instead of shimming up over my butt. They are really good quality and I'll buy again for sure.

First off let me say that the fleece lining isn’t accurate, they have a whisper of flocking on the inside. I was expecting something like a Sherpa lining like the adds on TikTok. I am happy with what I received and have more in my cart already. Normal tights and I have a love hate relationship, where I want to love them but they hate me, until these babies came into my life. I’m 5’4” 260 lbs and got the 3XL they are so stretchy that I am getting the 2XL next time. I love the butt area you will not get a wedgie with these.

These tights are soft and very warm. Great for winter biking. They wash up beautifully
