This does exactly what I bought it for, which is work in high winds, every time. It's quite substantial, larger and heavier than I expected but has the great benefit of a sight glass to check on the gas level, not sure how that works as a half full level shows as completely full when inverted, which is the position you have the lighter in to re-gas it. Disappointment is that the 'rose gold' plating has worn off exposed corners, which is all of them! - after only a few months, so it soon began to look shabby. It does work every time though.

A beautiful object in itself, it functions perfectly. It's three flame burner unites to form an unquenchable flame - high winds, rain, it's proof against them all. It fits comfortably into the hand and ignites EVERY time. Ideal for cigars, which I smoke,it's a heavy-weight both literally and metaphorically. If you're a cigarette smoker, then it might not be practical. It's pricey, but you get what you pay for: high quality in all respects.
