For the cost, this gateway works quite well. Out of the box it does not work properly, however. When in the configuration page for the device, you will need to make sure the "Modbus TCP" box is checked (it is not by default). If this box is not checked, it will place additional data on the RS485 line that can't be read by a traditional Modbus client/server role. This gateway does not do any buffering of the server's registers, it simply echoes the requests and responses. This will add a slight bit of transport delay in the system, so this may not be adequate for applications that have rapid poll and response rates. While this works in either direction, it is ideal for applications using a Modbus TCP client when interfacing with a server device that only has an RS485 serial connection.

Wenn man das Gerät passend konfiguriert hat dann läuft es auch . Anleitung ist so lala , mit etwas rumprobieren ist das aber easy gemacht .
