Not loving this product
The flap isn’t designed well, the bottom part of the flap is actually smaller than the hole for it, so the box constantly lets bad odours out. Also it’s not in line with the hole so it lets even more odours out.In the box, the plastic at the bottom seems to absorb the cat’s urine or the urine eats away the plastic not sure which one it is? Anyway it’s massively stained, tried loads of different detergent even bleach and no success. I wouldn’t recommend this litter tray I’m afraid

Loved Item
I purchased this litter tray for my kitten a few weeks before we got him (Feb, 2017). It arrived in a smaller box than anticipated, as the litter tray lid was inside the base. I popped it together within a few minutes, added litter, and it was ready to go. I recently bought a second one for my cat (who is now 1.5 years) as there was a small hole forming at the base of the tray, in the back corner. I am quite a tidy person, and to be honest, I could of put off buying a new tray for a few more months, however was concerned there would be leakage. I feel as though the reason the hole formed was due to my cat being an indoor cat, and when you use something a few times a day for a whole year and a half, you're bound to have some small wearage to it.I personally would recommend this litter tray. The only issue myself and Mowgli (my cat) have, is the little dome under the handle isn't used. He stands on his litter tray after using it to pop it through, so I've thrown it. This is not a major issue, it doesn't really affect the way he uses it. 10/10, Mowgli stamped approval! Would recommend.

Disappointing
The positives are the nice high sides but there are two difficulties with this tray. The first is the white round cap thingy you push onto the roof from the inside. I hadn’t spotted that feature and didn’t get deodoriser or anything so it seems pretty pointless and annoying as it regularly falls off into the tray. My rescue cat is nervous so I have taken the door off but if that falls on her whilst she’s in there , it could put her off using it. The second affects those of us with cats who pee a bit more vertically as urine leaks through the rear corners . I’ve solved that for the minute by standing it on a puppy pad to soak up the leakage.

great box
I have purchased this litter box in a few colours now. The quality for the price is amazing and better than the local store who charge more for their cheapest range of litter box. ( P at H )One of the reasons i like this is that the plastic is thick and the base IS SQUARE. yes square, this means that they dont tip it over !! if you have a big cat it will often sit on the top ( of all the places !) and they roll and tip over, this one doesnt !!The plastic is sturdy and has lasted with many a heavy lump of british short hair and some bengals !the door flap sits well and seems to stay there as well.there is a plastic circular vent at the top, this always seems to fall off, but that doesnt affect the litter box at all, ive simply thrown mine away.

Updated version of previos model.
This is my 2nd Trixie litter tray.Wanted a nice new clean model, the original was used without the Trixie plastic liners and was beginning to show its age.Now we have found and are using the liners, with wood pellets, the tray will be so much easier to empty and clean. Our 2 British Shorthair cats always use trays and even come inside from the garden to perform so will get plenty of use. This new model is similar to our old one so won't confuse the cats.

Brilliant buy!
This came early which is always a good start! It’s very easy to put together and sturdy when you have done so :) I put the door flap on the wrong way round at first as the small paper with instructions on fell onto the floor without me realising.. this cat tray is the best I’ve had and my cat sparkle used it for the first time today with ease :) value for money and both human and cat are happy :) I would definitely recommend this without a doubt!

probably the best tray I've bought, and I've bought many trays over the years.
strong, resilient plastic makes me feel this will last longer than many other low cost litter trays. The lid catches are well designed and they latch the base on so there's no chance of it dropping off as you're carrying the full tray. I use clumping clay which is very heavy and this tray is probably one of the best I've bought and I've got through quite a few in the last couple of years.Slight problem with the insert around the handle which keeps falling off, so glued it in place. Not sure why some reviews say this tray os small - it's not, it's much larger than average.

I like it but the cat isn't sure.
I bought this hoping my cat would manage to deposit everything inside. It's not really her fault, for 16 years she has used our garden as a toilet but we have moved to a house that only has a paved garden so have had to introduce the concept of a litter tray. She has managed very well but feels that as long as at least 1 paw is in the tray she is doing the right thing. I thought that if she had to go right into something it would work better but she doesn't like the door and won't go in at all if the door is in place. So having removed the door we are back to the 1 paw rule! Anyway I like it and at least with the lid on the dog is less likely to eat cat poo.
