What a Surprise!
Lovely sound. I am an amateur enthusiast. Since buying my son a really nice uke a few years ago (one that I've not heard the likes of since), I have made it a quest to find an equivalent. To start with, it looks lovely. The detailing is very attractive, albeit not hugely refined.I paid @£63 for this. I can forgive the minor aesthetic anomalies due to the one, and over-riding comment from my son, who picked it up, shortly after I had tuned it up, played a nimble little tune, and announced "Ooh, that's nice". I couldn't ask for a better validation. My son has a pitch-perfect ear (not inherited from me), and a natural affinity for musicality.I have four ukes. My favourite is an Eddy Finn soprano that gives a very crisp, clear, punchy sound. This Muke tends to give out a nicely resonant, fuller, softer effect.I haven't the musical language to describe it, but if you are after a softer uke sound (not so 'twangy'),with a very nice appearance, at a reasonable price, this is worth a gamble.

other than that great sound and looks good
I bought three at christmas. 1 has had to go back due to the neck coming away from the body, other than that great sound and looks good. The strings are fine out of the box. Bought after reading Barry Maz review on Got a Ukulele..brilliant detailed reviews to to look at before buying. In Spite of the broken neck I will still get another Muke to replace it

Great beginners uke
Excellent!!!Great value for money especially for a beginner!Update: came to change the strings for better quality ones and 3 out of 4 pegs were broken, I used the correct tool for the job so either the pegs were abused during initial setting up at the factory or the pegs were faulty. This is totally unacceptable and at least the pegs need to be replaced FOC!!!
