Great storage system with a wide variety of capacitors. This kit is perfect for a quick restock of basic values and the slim easy to access book-like case is a great way to keep them organized and readily accessible. All at a good price.

Cheap but good for testing. Wouldn’t use as a permanent part replacement. Esr is good and close in value just don’t know how long they will last.

This is a nice capacitor assortment. The components containers are fantastic, they are well marked making it easy to find the value you need, no fiddling around with storage bags or drawers, and they store very nicely. Components are well marked, no problems with polarity, and they solder well.

it seems like a very nice set of Standard caps. Goes with the rest of the library book type set. I was Not originally going to buy the Electrolytics because of the QC issues, but figured a library of New Spares that test good of any brand name is better than anything from the parts graveyard, or an already failed one. Definitely still test before use..i got one single mangled one..petty. There are no Big high-reputation brand names in the kit. For Mission critical, or special TV restorations, its probably still better to order specific values needed from a place like Mousers, and stick with known reliable brands like Rubycon, Panasonic, Chemicon, Dublier and the like.

I love having these on hand for projects and repairs. the cases are especially nice with the book style labels.

This is a great organizer for electrolytic capacitors (and parts in general) in that everything is labeled, even the spine of the box, sort of like a book. They will look great, and organized, on the shelf by my work area. I can't wait to fill out the rest of my parts library with the other organizers from this collection.
