Looking for a good cologne can be challenging, since I can only smell about four to five different fragrances before they start blending together. However, this one stood out for me when I tested it in a store and I have thoroughly enjoyed wearing it ever since. In fact, I'd go so far as to say this is my favorite eau de toilette.I'm sure everyone smells something different in it, but for me it has a bit of a spicy smell with a hint of pine or cedar and a vanilla undertone. I have received compliments on it, so I know it's not just me that enjoys the scent. I couldn't say how long it lasts for sure, since I generally become accustomed to a fragrance I'm wearing fairly quickly, but I've been told it stays with me through an evening. My one complaint is the bottle shape & size is a bit bulky for taking with me in a toiletry bag. Still, this is a great fragrance to have and one I'd certainly recommend!

A 8/10 for me the spice level is amazing the quality is great and last long and it’s valued correctly.

Phenomenal scent

First time user of this cologne. I’m a younger male, and this scent is taking some time to adjust too. The first 10 minutes are pretty rough and then it kind of mellows out a bit. It only lasts for around an hour or so, which for the price is understandable. My wife is not a fan of this scent either so I’m going to have to regift this one to my dad... and i’m not sure he will even wear it. I wouldn’t recommend for someone in their 20’s or 30’s unless you like the more classic spicy scents. Everyone has different preferences, however I would definitely recommend testing this one somewhere before you buy.

Bought this cologne many years ago for my husband as an anniversary gift. I love the way it smells. I also like how it looks in the bottle, so elegant. When I purchased it back then, I had no idea who Backham was, I just like the smel of it. I just bought another bottle for him, and I still, love the way it smells. I figure, if he's going to wear cologne, it might as well be cologne I like, especially since I have have asthma and allergies. I'd still buy this for him when this bottle runs out. It's a smooth sophisticate scent. I also like that it's not what everyone else is wearing. It's not overbearing or obxnoxious either.
