Does everything itās supposed to do.
Compact multimedia reader/writer.Works as described. Reads some older style memory cards that most others canāt.Very useful.

Original Review:I guess I'll have to return it and get back to you if I get another one. But for me, right now, right out of the box, it isn't reading the SmartMedia cards I haveānone of them. but it is reading the SD cards. I didn't get it for SD's; everything reads SDs. I got it for the SmartMedia reading ability. Not happy. I just want to find out what's on these discs, so that I can trash them. They're obsolete.They contacted me soon after...Updated Review: So what happened was when I tried to insert the card it didn't work at first because I inserted it wrong (no instructions provided). I tried the way it is supposed to go in, but the card hit something on the inside and didn't go in at all. Turns out you have to make sure it goes just right or it won't go at all. For no instructions and my failed attempts (obviously it's their fault that I couldn't easily insert it), they lost a star.

Great Card Reader
Versatile since it reads almost every card made. Had some old Compact Flash and Smart Media cards. Plugged in the reader then a card and found out the contents easily. Recommended.
