Love this. It's worked really well for getting around the city. No issues with installation or getting phone in and out with one hand. Very adjustable, though adjustments require a hex wrench (which is on my multitool for bike adjustments anyways.) I will say though there's no bumper material on the metal edges that grip your phone. This is fine for me since I have a rubberized case on my phone, its very secure and does no damage. But I would not feel comfortable putting my phone in this mount without a case on it, since the metal of the mount would rub the metal of the phone and probably scratch.

The GUB G-95 Stem Cellphone Mount works great once it’s correctly installed—solid build, holds the phone steady, no rattle even on bumpy rides. But there’s a really important detail to watch out for when mounting it. The bolt that secures the mount threads down through the top cap and into your bike’s steerer tube, and it passes through a round hinged piece on the mount. That round piece is designed to sit snugly into a recessed groove in the stem. If you don’t line it up perfectly—like if the mount is rotated 30–45° off—it’ll still tighten, but not into that groove. It’ll feel secure at first, but it’s not properly seated, and it can come loose while riding. I almost took off like that, but caught it while checking for play in the bars. Once I realigned it into the groove and tightened it down correctly, it was rock solid. Just something to double-check before you roll out. Great product overall, just requires a careful install.

Easy to install, seems like solid construction. However, it is very shallow, meaning it will not accommodate thicker phones, or phones with bulky cases. I have a recent model iPhone with a Smartish wallet case. I don't think it's particularly bulky, but definitely a bit thicker than a phone with a plain case on it. The first time I tried to use the mount my phone popped out pretty easily. I tried tightening the screw down more, which did make it more secure, but during a bumpy part of my ride the phone popped out again when I was going at speed. Fortunately it didn't break! But I wouldn't recommend unless you have a phone you don't keep in a case and are planning only to go on very smooth surfaces.
