If you live in the USA or are interested in the history of the USA this book is very interesting.If however you live anywhere else...WASTE OF MONEY..90% of the information is related to the USA.

An invaluable source of information
Full of data and easy to follow. I have many of these and similar types of book, these are among the best. Content can be a bit US orientated but it is published in the states after all. Highly recommended.

sorry but I had to give it to someone with better eyesight than mine.. letters to small.. inside the first pages it says about ordering one with larger print.. had that been on the ad' I would have bought it.. but alas.. some things just have to be.. cheers hmac

muy "american" para lo q necesito
Le quitaría la palabra "world", porque tiene casi todo el contenido enfocado para púiblico estadounidense. Otras ediciones hispanas sí tienen el enfoque global. También dice ser "hardcover" y esperaba una tapa dura de verdad, pero no, ... es muy endeble. El contenido tiene muchos datos pero la letra es bastante pequeña y la presentación casi toda en blanco y negro, lo que lo hace poco amable a la lectura. A menos que seas estadounidense, no lo recomiendo.

Desde hace varias décadas compro, o trato de comprar este almanaque. Es una fuente increíblemente completa de la historia mundial y de la EEUU reciente. Una inmensa cantidad de datos acerca de una gran variedad de temas se encuentra en este libro: Política, cultura, geografía, astrología, ciencia, etc. Para mí un libro imprescindible.

Tons of useful information, the only issue is that the font size is horribly small. I need a magnifying glass to read it.
