How to Pass Your OSCE: A Guide to Success in Nursing and Midwifery
F**L
Strong on process weak on content
Focused on process ..not content . Needs to have alot more case studies and examples to be really helpful. Should not combine nursing and midwifery too broad an area to cover

Two Stars
Not what I expected at all. I think only 1 chapter was helpful. Should have saved my money!!

Well I passed!
I passed my OSCE so it was helpful! Very easy to follow instructions and ideas. It is quite small as well so not too overwhelming on top of all the other books we have to read being a student nurse!

Excellent
So that's what an OSCE is! We got the tasks set at uni but were never told what OSCE's were. This book is well written yet easy to read. Chapters are laid out well so you can skip to the ones that are applicable to you. There is also a section on how to study for OSCE's and tips from students who have done them in the past that I found really useful. Scenario's throughout the book are helpful to visualise what the OSCE will entail and identifies what the examiner is looking for, although some of the illustrations are a little childish and irrelevant. I would definately recommend this book to other student nurses.

How to pass yr OSCE
It was far easier to watch youtube videos to swat for OSCE's than taking up valuable time in trowling through this book. Very disappointing.
