McRae's Orthopaedic Trauma and Emergency Fracture Management

HIGHLY recommend this!
As a fairly new ortho PA, I was recommended by multiple people “orthopedic for physician assistants” and “handbook of fractures” as go-to guides. This book easily replaces both resources. It is simultaneously more thorough and more concise and does a good job explaining basic concepts as well as covering pre-op, post-op, and even surgical techniques. The other books were sorely lacking in covering the basics and oftentimes missing images/x-rays that would have been more helpful. I highly highly recommend this book and wish I found it sooner.
