I actually live really close to Cannonsburg, Pa where All-Clad makes there products and ever since I was a kid my mom only bought All-Clad products. We grew up not haveing a lot of money, I mean I’m one of 5 kids so we were expensive, but even with that my mom always invested in good quality pieces of cookware. I’m not sure if All-Clad still does this but they would sell scratch and dent pieces at a very low price and my mom would buy those. She still has all of those pieces to this day and uses them regularly even though they are much better off financially these days. So I will never pass up anything All-Clad.This cutting board is huge and heavy! It’s definitely one of those ones that you can leave out on your counter and it doesn’t look out of place. I actually love that since I cook daily so I would rather leave my cutting board out for easy access. I actually got a Caraway one a few months ago and really liked it, but this All-Clad one blows it out of the water! The Caraway one was significantly more expensive than this All-Clad one yet this All-Clad one is like double the size of the Caraway one and nearly 3X the thickness. It is soooo nice! You can easily use this one as a charcuterie board as well when you have company. All in all I love this piece and I would highly recommend it!

Fits nicely in the hand. My hands are medium large male hands. It is well made. I am not afraid of cutting myself when using it. Sharpenable with a ceramic rod (and I strop). I mainly use it to peel ginger. The ginger I get at my local grocery store more often than not needs to be peeled with a knife (not a spoon), but it is still good ginger, just a pain in the butt to peel with all the little knobs and such.***8/28 I actually am reviewing the wrong product here. I tried to delete this, but it is still here. I was reviewing a different bird's beak paring knife. I got this one and returned it beacause the handle was too small for meduim large man hands.Amazon please delete this review.Otherwise it is a nice knife, but I like a bit more of a tapered out finger guard in the design. If I used this I would cut myself.

This cutting board from All-Clad is such a gorgeous addition to my kitchen. We rarely eat out and I do a lot of meal prep so this will see a lot of use. I've tried bamboo cutting boards (hard on my knives), glass (makes me nervous), and various grades of plastic (work great but need replaced near constantly). I'm hoping this will last me a while and I can stop the game of replace the cutting board.After doing some research into what is the best material for a cutting board I was surprised to learn that wood cutting boards harbor less bacteria than plastic.As far as maintenance, this comes pre oiled but does need food grade mineral oil applied every few months to maintain.There are handles built into the side which make it very convenient if you want to serve from it. There are also little feet on the bottom to keep it lifted off the counter. It's much larger than I expected. Such a beautiful eye catching piece for the kitchen.

Like the grip. Very sharp. I don’t give it time to hold its sharpness because I give it a few swipes quite often. I’m happy with the knife. The only thing is the grooves on knife do not prevent sliced pieces from sticking

This is a huge cutting board, so you need to have a good amount of counter space available. Since it's big, it has some heft to it, but it's easy to move around thanks to the deep recessed handles on each end. The juice groove goes all the away around the board, another nice feature. This is an excellent cutting board and a great addition to my kitchen.
