The scale calculates every measurement you could possibly need—BMI, body fat, fat-free body weight, subcutaneous fat, visceral fat, body water, skeletal muscle, muscle mass, bone mass, protein, BMR, and even metabolic age. Not only does it provide instant, detailed insights, but it also tracks trends over time, making it easy to monitor progress.The circumference tool is a fantastic addition—super easy to use for measuring specific body parts, and just like the scale, it syncs effortlessly with the app via Bluetooth. All I have to do is open the app and step on the scale or use the measurement tool, and my data is instantly recorded. It could not be easier to use!The scale itself feels high-quality and looks sleek with its minimalist clear glass design. The only thing to keep in mind is that it can’t be stored in a humid environment, so it’s not ideal for a bathroom. I keep mine in my closet, and that works just fine for me!I’m especially excited to track my trends over time and see how my numbers evolve. Weighing myself every day has never been fun. In fact, when my 15 year old digital scale died last summer, I let it sit collecting dust in the bathroom and neglected my weight. After a trip to the doctor last month, I realized I needed to get serious about my weight and get a new scale. I chose this one based on all the great reviews and it's price, and I'm very glad I did. Using this scale has been so motivational because of all the information it provides via the phone app. For example, you can actually see if you are losing fat vs, water weight, and subcutaneous fat vs visceral fat. You can see if your water levels and protein levels are increasing. Without this information, weight is just a number, and I know I was always disappointed in the past when I'd only see my weight tick down a little bit, or worse...tick up a little bit. I always assumed I was losing or gaining water weight and nothing else. Now, I look forward to weighing myself every day because I can see what's actually going on with my body. Maybe my weight only ticked down a few ounces, but I can see that it was subcutaneous fat loss and not water loss. This information helps me to make adjustments to my diet and water intake! Setup was quick and easy. It connected to my phone via Blu tooth and an app (and the app by the way connected easily with my Apple Health app). The scale displays your weight, and the app gives you all of the other stats. The only downside is you can't leave the scale in your bathroom if it's internal instruments will be exposed to humidity. (What bathroom doesn't get steamy with showers?) I just keep it tucked under my bed and move it to the bathroom in the mornings to weigh myself on the hard tile floor. Then I tuck it back under my bed til the next day. The upside to this is that it won't get dusty and grimy like my old scale which lived in my steamy bathroom. I highly recommend this scale. It's a great price, super easy to set up, the app works great, it came with batteries, and the best part of all is how it motivates me to keep working on my weight. I started using it 15 days ago in conjunction with the Keto diet, and according the the scale and app, I've lost 6.2 lb, 1.6% body fat (fat not water...my water levels and protein levels have actually increased), and I've shaved 1% off my BMI. Get this scale. You won't regret it!
