Great cost for some extra 25 plates for my home gym, especially with handles built in. I got them for less than $1/pound, shipped.

This review is for the black Cast Iron Olympic plates with two grips. There is no rubber coating so these plates will never off-gas. I ordered 245 lbs. Some plates have silver text that looks awful. The majority of the plates however look great. If I had to guess, I’d say 75% of the plates I received are flawless, 20% have minor cosmetic flaws, and 5% look like the pics I posted. Also, some plates have black paint that chipped off probably due to poor packaging. If the center hole (inside ring) feels a little rough/coarse you may want to use some sandpaper to make sure it’s smooth enough so the plate will not scratch your barbell sleeve. If you have the option to select "ship in an Amazon box" at checkout...do it. That extra box helps to protect the plates. Overall, I love the plates. Buying an oil based black sharpie and oil based silver sharpie is probably a good idea to fix any cosmetic flaws.

These plates are great. They seem like the best value I could find on Amazon, and the option to get them with the grips on either side make them really versatile. They're super easy to move around the gym and the handles make them great for Farmers carries or to hold when doing squats or sit-ups.

The weights are great, haven't checked actual weight but they seem close enough for me. The grip handles are awesome, and you could use the by themselves for various workouts. But the holes are a bit big for my bar. Not sure if its the bar or the weights but they are very loose on the bar.
