This little pot support turned out to be a great addition to my Kelly Kettle setup. It’s lightweight, sturdy, and fits perfectly on top of the kettle or under the base to keep the fire off the ground. It really makes the system more versatile — I can now boil water and cook a small meal at the same time without wasting fuel. The metal feels solid and well-made, and it packs easily inside the kettle for transport. I’ve used it several times while camping and it’s holding up great with no warping or rust. Pros: • Compact, lightweight, and easy to store • Works perfectly with all Kelly Kettle models • Lets you cook safely and efficiently • Solid stainless steel construction Cons: • Gets very hot quickly — use tongs or gloves when removing If you already own a Kelly Kettle, this accessory is a must-have. It’s simple, smart, and adds a lot of functionality to your setup. 🔥🍳

I like how small it packs when disassembled and its pretty light weight. When disassembled it doesn't fit in base of kettle so it has to be carried separately which I don't like.

At $10 these intricately cut bits of sheet stainless steel are expensive for their purpose but they certainly do work to prevent the fire pot from scorching a picnic table. The kettle is quite stable. Note that the base of the kettle best fits the side having the smaller diameter. The wider stance on the bottom keeps the kettle quite stable.

Overall a great product and a great addition to your Kelly Kettle. I got an old model as a pot stand and wanted this for a stand to set the kettle on to prevent scorching or setting a fire inadvertently. Works great. HOWEVER it won’t nest inside the trekker as the old model will. There’s plenty of room in the bag for it though.

I LOVE THIS Kelly kettle, i have both a trekker size, and a base caMP size. Both are used for exactly what the name suggest. Trekker size for hiking, Base camp is for camping. I found, on Amazon, i could purchase this kettle, and accessories cheaper, if i bought both the kettle, and the accessories together..pans.. ect.. I love that you can light up any thing dried out as fuel.. ; The kettle takes on its own wind current inside the kettle. What you do is.. you start from small twigs.. and gradually get bigger twigs.. blow on it a bit.. and all you have to do is drop in more twigs, and pine cones, or aNY Thing.. through the top. .. and your kelly kettle is burning hOt. It really does take 3ish minutes to boil water. just leave the hole in the base unobstructed for air. I lOve this kettle.. i love it ; i received the kettle quickly, and i bought the stainless steel version, because the aluminum version burns out in the base after constant use.. so the reviews say, and you will eventually have to purchase another base.. so if you want less weight.. get the aluminum version... i love my stainless steel. ;
