Works very well. This is a long tool that easily reaches to the floor. Not too heavy in itself but will get a little unwieldy if carrying a weight.The magnet and light are nice touches but I bought this for litter picking in my yard.Strong at full reach, doesn’t flex even under load. Feels nice in the hand, makes the easy to use - nice feedback.Hasn’t become dirty yet but a run under a tap will do.Instructions are easy to understand and I had no issues when picking up items, even those flat to the ground.A very useful device that saves my bending over.

As a person with a mobility disability, I find grabbers to be highly useful - in case I drop items, or want to reach something without having to climb out of my chair.This particular grabber is perhaps the longest I’ve seem, with a 44in reach, a rotatable head which also features magnets and a small light (you’ll use it more than you think!) that lights up where the claws are pointed.Although flimsier than some shorter models, these grabbers are strong enough to lift everything you’d imagine they could - which ends up mostly being pens, pills, batteries and remote controls in my experience!This is my second grabber of this type, as I liked the first so much. It reaches so much more stuff than its shorter counterparts, and will serve you well for a long time.An easy two thumbs up 👍🏻👍🏻

We bought this grabber to retrieve an animal skull that we saw, just out of reach, at the edge of the Rhino enclosure at Whipsnade zoo. It is pretty good quality, and did the job well. I can't think of many occasions where I might need a long-reach grabber - but we ended up with the skull, and the grabber is there if we need it for future skulls. Recommended.

I brought this item as I had total hip replacement surgery and not able to bend down and it's very handy for picking up things on the floor, or reaching in the cupboard. It's of great quality also value for money and worth buying

I bought one of these just before Christmas as a present for my partner who is an avid litter picker. The extra long reach and foldability are what attracted me to this product. Sadly though it broke on the second outing and clearly isn’t robust enough for this task. I’m sure it would be absolutely fine for picking up small and light things around the house, the little headlight is useful, but unfortunately it isn’t much use for what I bought this for.

Very pleased with the gripper. I now need help picking things up from the floor, and the gripper is excellent. I’ve used it for picking up various things including post. The pincer has silicone jaws enabling fine items to be retrieved. It’s well made and strong enough to do what I need. It’s balanced to operate and a reasonable weight to hold.

I feel silly now for not purchasing one of these a long time ago. I’m 5’5”, and I have lower back problems. You don’t realize how often you bend over until you have back pain. I also have trouble reaching the top shelves in our home. I have stepladders, but I found myself reaching for things with a long pair of tongs, which wasn’t a sound idea. The last time I used tongs I almost dropped a glass jar of sauce on my head. So when I saw this grabber, well, I grabbed it.The pincer is lined with rubber, so it doesn’t scratch delicate things. The rubber also makes the grip surer. The pincer is shaped just right for almost any type of object, and the grabber is so strong I can pick wet bath towels off the floor with it. As a test, I grabbed a 20-ounce tumbler full of water and moved it across the kitchen. The tumbler was so heavy I had to hold the grabber with two hands. There is a button magnet on the outside of the pincer, which is awesome. I dropped some pins on the floor, and the magnet picked them right up.Some reviewers said the grabber is difficult to lock/unlock. That hasn’t been my experience at all. Mine is super easy to manipulate and lock/unlock. I don’t fold mine for storage, although that’s a great feature. There’s a small Velcro strap that’s meant to secure the grabber when it’s folded. I use that loop-strap to hang my grabber from a hook. It’s lightweight for all its sturdiness. I use this thing a lot. I’m so glad to have it.

I gave this to my elderly mom (who has trouble bending over) and she loves it. It is very sturdy and can grab most any light or mid weight object. Very nice niche device.

This foldable/ portable grabber is a must have item for every household! I use it everyday to pick up small toys from under the couch or TV stand, but it's strong enough to grab my phone. It's easy to use and I love the tiny magnet on the tong, it really comes in handy.
