This stuff is the real deal! My 5 year old daughter had a cough for almost 6 month, we went to every doctor and specialist, and after inhalers, albuterol, and countless other meds we decided to try this. My mother recommended it, from when she was a child, and how well it worked. I am grateful for Father Johns! After two doses my daughters mucus broke up and in two days cough was completely gone with no return. I buy it all the time for my family now , it works like a charm!!!

Don't get me wrong, but this stuff absolutely, positively works! I had a mild case of COVID and for weeks, I literally tried other over the counter cough medicine with DM. My friend told me about Father John's describing it as old remedy medicine your grandma's use to make. You won't find it in the stores in my city. Of course Amazon carried it yes! It's the most nasty medicine I had to take, but this stuff works. I went through 3 bottles and I recovered 100%. Cod liver oil tastes so nasty, but nasty worked. I keep a bottle now at all times. Remember it was a mild case I had. Mask/social distance, and stay at home kept me from getting worse as well. Very thankful.

The taste is not the same as I remember from childhood. It now has a longer lasting after taste lol...It definitely works the same though.

It still works the same. The taste is just as nasty as I remember as a kid, but it knocked the cough out!!

This cough syrup has a nasty taste. It’s not runny but has a thickness. Just know that it works to get rid of a stubborn cough. It breaks up phlegm. I recommend this oldie but goodie as a cough suppressant and reliever!

Although the taste might not be that great, the product is great. It is a product my grandfather gave his grandkids when we were young (and I am 69 years old).

When in doubt, go back to what your Grandmother used to give you! I loved this stuff as a kid, and now as an adult... I understand why my grandmother relied on it. It works better than any other cough or cold medicine on the market today. The same ingredients as it was some 50+ years ago. Difficult to find in drug stores. So thankful and grateful for Amazon!
