Excellent game without a doubt
Firstly, let me get one thing clear, the game is extremely better than what some reviewers have given it. I mean the same could be said with the wii, first time I played it I thought it was crap, especialy when you've played with a controller. Anyway, after a few good hours, I will admit it is an excellent game. The graphics are great, the game itself is challenging and has a good shelf life.I will admit you need to give it sometime, timing is the key and the gesture system is great. I like the other games that allow to use the siaxis for only certain elements of a game, but this is all sixaxis, apart from when you are battling on ground. Another thing I must point out is that you don't need to go mental on the sixaxis, as it is very responsive, just gentle movements of the sixaxis will make your dragon move, think of it in terms of a dragon, strong, powerful but yet gentle and swift. I let my wife play and she just went mental with the sixaxis and she got nowhere in the game.People may not like it as you need to forget to learn to use the analogue sticks, which like me can be daunting at first, but after 2-3 hrs I was mastering the skies and the manouvers. It is a great game with beautiful visuals. As I say, don't knock it till you've played it for a good few hrs continously.I still don't understand what the reviewers were reviewing as it's utter rubbish what they have claimed. To be honest most of the reviewers now-a-days only play 2/3rds of it and rush it, so they end up slating it. Rather than spend quality time with a game and truly master it.Do yourself a favour and order it, trust me you will be suprisingly amazed, this is what the ps3 sixaxis was made for!Kudos to the developers to try something different and truly succeed, sad fact is they got lynched by incompetent reviewers, who can't find there **** from there elbow.

Factor 5's swan song; basically a Rogue Leader with dragons
If you like combat flying simulators - especially the Rogue Squadron trilogy + Battle for Naboo - you'll most likely love this one. As the last game Factor 5 developed before they restructured the company, and as an early title meant to show the power of the PS3, it's as much eye candy as you would expect it to be.I haven't played the game that much yet, but the first few levels were fun enough. The controls seem to take some getting used to, but thankfully you can turn off the six-axis gimmick thing if that's how you prefer to play the game. I really enjoy the attention to detail, and I almost sense a passion from the developers when I'm playing. So yeah, this is a VERY personal opinion, but I sincerely believe this game should be worth a try to most people, especially for those of us who enjoy flight simulation.

I love this game now you can use the analogue sticks.
I guess thats all i have to say really, its got big dragons, awesome graphics, Yes, even back in 2007, this game looked pretty awesome, and still does.Plenty of action, plenty of gorgeous looking cutscenes, and plenty of action again. Its a shame that there wont be a LAIR 2. this game deserves a sequel. If like me you aim to have a good lot of PS3 exclusives in your collection, then this is one of the best ones to have amongst them..............................For some reason, people always mention the crappy controls, even when i tell them they can use the analogue sticks now, they still come up with something negative to say.

Poor condition
I received a PS3 game inside a Xbox One game box with the sleeve and the disc instead backwards. The booklet was crudely folded inside because apparently Xbox booklets are smaller and it didn't fit. How do you put a game disc with the front side facing down!? Whoever packaged this evidently did not care one bit. Amazingly, the disc was only smudged up and not seriously scratched. It seems to work fine and the booklet does match the game. I mean it was dirt cheap but still...

Nice idea on paper... not so good with the controller on your hands
Its OK for a few missions, then it gets a little bit boring - confusing. I tried to keep using the sintaxis, maybe with standard controls is not so confusing and frustrating and more playable. The idea is good, riding dragons, attacking land forces, fighting other dragons... but the end product is not too brilliantI bought it cheap to give it a try, so I'm not too disappointed, but not too happy either. Maybe I'll revisit it when I have nothing else to play (but quite unlikely)

Not as bad as some say.
I actually had a lot of fun playing Lair, all the central gameplay was fun and interesting, and the controls which were originally infuriating have been somewhat fixed, they can still be annoying at times, but certainly do not get in the way any more. This leaves you with what the core of the game s about, riding dragons and breathing fire on things, which is always fun.

lair (PS3)
Quick deliverly on this one, great game, lots to do in this one. Would also highly recommend seller, but I would recommend it to children over the age of 10 years old on this, as some of it is a little bit scary in parts of the game.

Oh dear me no...
I play a lot of games. A LOT. This has got to be among the worst games I`ve ever played. The reason for this? The controls, pure and simple. Yes, the general flight controls can be switched between motion sensing and traditional, but the air combat controls cannot. There are moments when you have to do sideways slams into other dragons with motion control, and this simply doesn`t work well enough (if at all). I thought, surely at this price it`s worth a shot. The answer is NO!!!! Although if you have someone in your life that you really don`t like, this would be an ideal gift.
