Used this on a United airlines 14 hr flight. It fit over the tray table easily and worked well. I’m rather short, so it helped with being able to elevate legs for a long flight. Used this in an economy plus seat with three extra inches of space between the chairs in front and I when using it I could fully stretch out my legs (under the seat in front of me) as well. Not sure how well it would work on the regular Economy seats. It would likely still let you elevate your legs but you may not be able to stretch your legs straight out. I like that one side is smooth and the other is soft and padded so if you want to keep your shoes on, you can use the smooth side and easily flip it around if you have your socks on. There is another brand that has a bit less cushioning that we also got that worked fine but was not quite as nice when not wearing shoes. This one was also a bit wider which was nice. But the other smaller one packed a little bit smaller and thinner than this one and worked just as well. So if size is an issue that’s something to consider. I really liked this one for the cushioning and extra width though. And it wasn’t that much bigger than the other option available on Amazon so it probably get this one unless size is really an issue.

This made coach feel more comfortable. Fit the backseat perfectly! Easy to put away quickly. Doesn’t take up much space in your carry on bag.

The product itself was just fine! I reviewed down a bit because you cannot use it on all flights. I had an average economy flight and I'm fairly average height and I was unable to use it because there just wasn't enough room between the seat in front of me and my legs. Again, the product itself was just fine...but keep in mind your flight and height =)

I’ve tried the hammock type without a rigid base. It’s easier to pack in the carryon, but on a long flight, your feet slide together, and it becomes painful. With the rigid bottom, you can relax, put your feet close together or far apart, and they stay there. The strap goes down to the base of the seat back tray, seems innocuous, not weighing the tray down or pulling on it where it would hurt the tray arms.If you have a long flight and a bad back, this makes it tolerable.

I was hesitant to buy this because I had doubts that it would help my restless legs on long plane flights. I have tried it twice now with fantastic results. Instead of crossing and recrossing my legs every few minutes I had them in the sling and it was magical. I did not feel restless, I was more comfortable and the flights five hours flew. I was anxious to go home a week later because I was so excited to try the sling again. Our next flight is from the US to Australia and I can’t wait!

Warning! The product did not come with a rigid base as described. I only purchased it because it said it had a rigid base that that it wouldn't collapse in on itself. There is no support whatsoever and completely rolls up - no rigid part at all. Returning it.

I was a bit skeptical at first, but after using, I was surprised by its function. The sturdy foot board could keep your foot from crushing towards each other and the strap was very sturdy. It was a good product.Easy to store and easy to assemble.

I am writing this review while traveling on a 15 hours flight. This foot rest is very useful thing. I am using this to support my calf and upper leg area.Its length can be adjusted to customize personal comfort. I would recommend it to anyone who gets restless legs on long flights

It is very useful specially for short people, putting the legs in a very comfortable position during the flight, avoiding back pain as well.. it has a hard base as described it doesn't fold when you put your legs..

After searching through numerous listings for replacement footrests for my elderly but otherwise perfectlry servceable manual wheelchair and finding plenty for modern ones withoutt the one measurement I needed, I found this listing. Does the job nicely, thanks. Fits easily and securely and adjusts to just right from knee to foot and seems sturdy enough to last for years

Just arrived on holiday after 3.5 hr flight. 8yr old daughter used throughtout the flight and was such a better experience for her. Stable, comfortable, quick and easy to install and pack away.
