Good classic pens
Recommended by my child's teacher, she asked for these pens for her birthday. Good classic pens, write smoothly and improve her handwriting as she is more careful...

The ideal pen for writing
These pens are lovely for any sort of writing. I brought them for my son at school, but had to try them out first. The red pens are extremely comfortable to hold with their round shape. I cannot write about how long they last as I have just received them. But I can say that the ink is a nice, dark black. Unlike some pens which have a faded colour. The line is a constant thickness and the ink dries almost instantly. This is due to the fact that the ink is transferred in an almost felt-tip style. With that in mind, care must be taken not to smudge the ink immediately after writing. These pens are definitely a 5/5 for me and are more than worth the small amount you pay for them.

Just like the ones I used in primary school (90s)
Comfortable grip and ink flow is great. Purchased to begin pen-paling again. Great quality and good value for money. Dry fairly quickly but I always wait a bit before folding up my letters. Would but again.

Nice pens
I like the way they write! They do smudge so if you are a lefty be warned!

came up when googling "best handwriting pens"
I will be the first to admit that I did not know there was such a thing as pens for handwriting - I thought they were all, yunno, for writing!! But I have recently begun a course on the side of my full time job and am finding myself taking lots more notes. These came up in a google search for best handwriting pens so I gave them a go. Really pleased with these, ink dispension is perfect and not too bleedy, and the cap fits on to the back of the pen instead of falling off or needing to be set aside while using the pens. I am pleased with these and for the value for money. Not sure how long they will last in terms of longevity but I am pleased.

tried outlining with it, dies frequently
I used all 4 of the pens that it came with, and during the first test they are NOT waterproof or alcohol-ink proof, not even a little bit, so if you're using the pens for this purpose don't waste your time. The cap is a bit difficult to take off and put back on, and it feels a little childish in my hands with no grip support and very smooth, bright red plastic. After trying to outline an art piece I was working on, I had to use all 4 pens in the package because they kept drying out- AND I DIDN'T FINISH, I had to use another brand (stabilo point 88 0.4mm, also not water or alcohol-proof) to finish it up. The next morning, I tried the pens again and they were fine for the following few seconds that I tested them, like they didn't dry out on me last night. If you're desperate enough to get these pens, hopefully you won't be writing for a long period of time.

Beware of Use!!
I was gifted a set of Berol Handwriting Pens by a friend. They were marvelous for marking quilting designs and washed right out of the fabric. I was ecstatic to find these on Amazon. I had absolutely no qualms about using these on a wedding quilt. I marked the design, quilted it, bound it. Then, I washed it in warm water using a mild detergent as I had always done. Not one of the marks came out. Totally ruined a Queen Size quilt. I will never, ever use these pens again.
