Wish I could say good things about this product, since Neewer is a brand that has saved me lots of money from all these other overpriced accessory companies, but this one really messed things up for me! Used it on a couple of shoots and it worked great, only to fail me on a few different shoots after that. Such a critical component should be rigorously checked and tested before being sent out, since there's really nothing worse that can happen than for power to suddenly cut during recording. Files can be corrupted, or worse the camera components could be affected by any sort of power issue. I'm a big believer in saving costs by purchasing cheaper accessories but HARD PASS on a component that's this critical. DO NOT BUY

I started using my Sony a7C as a webcam. This power adapter has allowed me to do that seamlessly. I haven't had any issues at all, simply installed it and plugged it in and haven't given it a second thought. Definitely recommend this for Sony A7C owners who are looking for endless battery life. Particularly if you're using it for live streaming or webcam-type applications.
