Hi to everyone! It's winter time and I needed new thick knee high socks.I had no idea just how many different brands and styles were out there.The more you look, the more you get confused.After alot of searching and researching too, I purchased these Hylaea Merino Wool Ski Socks, Cold Weather Socks for Snowboarding, Snow, Winter, Thermal Knee-high Warm Socks.They are hot!! I have worn them inside boots, regular shoes, and sneakers. They feel awesome and keep my feet toasty. Also, they look cool, work like fancy compression socks and they keep you warm.They are true to size. Great socks. Very soft and warm. They extend above the knee for me. I'm 5'10".

I live in Alaska and wear these every day. It's March now and still cold in the morning. These fit over my calf and stay up just fine. They are stretchy but firm fitting and don't sag. No wrinkles under the foot. And they are quite warm. I will probably buy another set. They are now my favorite.

I bought these to replace an old pair of wool socks. Unable to find the exact ones, and seeing the cost of a single pair, I opted for these. Pleased to find they do indeed go over the calf. I'm 6'4 and they fit just above my knee! warm, comfortable and great price. I only gave 4 stars because i cannot attest to durability. Will update rating after 6 months.

I live in Montana and you better have good, warm socks cos if you wanna keep your feet❗️ these socks are great. They are very warm and kinda tight and long up to my knees. They work great in my snow boots‼️

We bought these for a snow weekend during a visit to Nevada. I usually get cold feet....not this time, these are amazing, kept my feet warm and dry! also, since these are high socks, keeping my lower leg warm I believe helped overall to help maintain body heat. Got these for skiing in negative temps in Canada. Kept my feet warm and dry. I tried regular socks the first day worried these might be too thick for my boots. Regular socks got moist and my toes were cold and sore. I switched to these and had zero issues. They are the perfect thickness for ski boots, kept me feet warm and never got moist. My boyfriend tried a pair and he loved them. Will definitely be buying more

I wear size 9 shoes so ordered size large according to the chart. Out of the box they looked too small but stretched to fit when put on. The length is too long for me, running all the way to the knee joint where they irritate me when flexing. They fit quite snug but not uncomfortably so as long as you’re walking about and active, but start feeling quite uncomfortably tight if you lie down to relax. I wore them to bed and woke up in the middle of the night feeling like my legs were the last bit of toothpaste you’re trying to squeeze out of a nearly empty tube. I’m a fairly skinny guy so I can’t imagine what someone with normal or thick legs would feel. I felt great relief after taking them off.The thickness was good(not too thick) and they are warm. If you aren’t irritated by having tight socks all the way up to the knee you could give them a try but I’d suggest sizing up. I sent them back.
