Has anyone dehydrated eggs on this?

Yes when I do eggs I fry them in a non stick pan with no oil. Then I break them up and dehydrate them. If you leave them on the dehydrator too long they will turn brown. After I dehydrate them I put them in a coffee grinder. I then put them in a quart jar and vacuum seal them. They are good for years. To rehydrate add a little water let them soak for a few minutes. Then just refry them or heat them in the microwave. They are quite tasty that way. Hope this helps you. Any more questions just ask. Tom. That's me.

No idea, but it works great! We make chicken or beef jerky, and our doggos love it!

Does this unit have a fan "quiet operation: with electric heating coils and quiet convection fan, you do not have to worry about loud, constant noise

The fan is not loud, like a normal fan. Has heat coil and fan. Works good, however we didn’t receive the jerky gun as expected. Otherwise works fine, they are still practicing to get recipes right,

Do I need to cook the meat before dehydrating or does this machine get hot enough to kill harmful bacteria?

Directions say to cook for 30 minutes after dehydrated at 160 degrees
