Rico Smart Pak for Alto Sax

For your £36 you get:-Cork grease worth £3, a reed guard with two reeds worth £7 at most, a small mp saver worth £1 a narrow tipped mouthpiece which as a starter kit is too narrow and a ligature which is bent in all the wrong places and is impossible to fit to the mouthpiece.All in all, I suggest a Yamaha 4c mp and LEAVE THIS STARTER KIT IN THE SHOP!!!

I have had to go buy all over again. The mouthpiece was too small, didn't even get the ligature or mouthpiece cap. Daughter was too quick and opened it all otherwise it would have gone back for a full refund.

I was a little skeptical on this after the original review saying it wasn't worth the money but took the plunge anyway as my teacher recommended Rico.Glad I did as it's a great kit for beginners and definitely worth the money, it's amazing what a new mouthpiece and ligature can do for your Sax and this doesn't dissapoint. Needed some help changing the mouthpiece as I've never done it before but once my teacher showed me it made such a difference!Always handy to have a couple of extra reeds and the mouthpiece saver is a nifty little accessory.Overall I'm glad I took the risk and havent been left dissapointed.
