FIXED JBJ ARCTICA 1/3HP CHILLER
(BACKSTORY: A few months ago (before the work in this review was done), our 1/3hp arctica was not turning the compressor or the condenser fan on after the ~3 minutes wait from when the "cool" light on the front display of the chiller began to blink. I knew if the chiller compressor was going out, the condenser fan should still run despite the compressor being "dead". That was not the case, The cool light would blink for past 3 minutes, the light remained lit and at this point, the compressor and fan should be spinning, but more importantly, I should have heard a relay's contacts close, but I didn't. I decided to tear the chillers panels off and get access to ultimately, remove the front display. It's straightforward to do this, just pay attention to how the panel's slide together like a jigsaw puzzle at their edges. I took the panel apart and noticed there was a burnt spot on the case and a bit of yellowing in the circuit board. When a circuit board turns lighter color than around it, that signifies a place of high temp. Turns out that there was a cracked solder joint on one of the relay's contacts. Worked fine ever since then until:)Recently we noticed the chiller on our tank beginning to click followed by a pop anywhere between 2-5 minutes later. It would then wait a second and repeat the click of the relay, wait time, then pop. For anyone wondering, my condenser fan was running as normal, only the compressor wouldn't kick on sometimes. I checked apex and found the chiller was drawing near 20 amps (Yes, really, 20 Amps) so I removed the left of display chiller side panel and watched the process of click, minutes later a pop. The pop was a large electrical arc. I then did some research and was unable to find a replacement for the manufacturer start relay (the black 2 pin relay on the side of the compressor under the cover). In the end, I ordered "6748C-0004D" to replace the start relay and this 20uF 370V capacitor as insurance for the original.I later checked the chiller running on the stock capacitor and I would have been fine keeping the old one but I now have this one that I know will run the chiller as a back up, which is great!@ My chiller is fixed, I have no problems as of now.

I work for a maintenance company they asked me to replace a well pump ($150) and after review I noticed the pump was only 1 year old so after some looking I found water had got in the cover blowing out the start capacitor and relay and I fixed the pump in 2 days for less than $20 thanks to SHENGE

While this capacitor was not the same diameter as my original, it worked perfectly. I spent a few minutes fabricating a new mount and now my A/C is back up and running.
