Nielsen-Massey Madagascar Bourbon Pure Vanilla Extract, 4 FL OZ

let's face it, nielsen-massey is THE name for vanilla. It's quite strong with no chemical taint. it speaks for itself.

I recieved blended extract instead of madagascar. I paid madagascar price which is almost twice the price. When I contacted the store and filed a complaint, I had to "prove" that I recieved wrong, and I did with sending picture. Then they refused to admit that there where any difference between the two products, because they had talked to their supplier about it they said. Then I showed them the nielsen massey homepage where it describe the clear differences to them. Then they said they could refund the item IF I sent it back in mail (which costs more than the product) And when I said I wantet also refunded my shipping if I returned it, they could "of course" not do that. So basically they forced me to take a loss, and was not willing to take a loss themselves for the error they did.

Ich verwende das Extract für diverse Eiscremsorten. Wenige Tropfen bis höchstens ein Teelöfel auf die Menge Sahne und Milch für ca. 1.5 L Eis, ein Traum. Sprich für reines Vanille Eis ein Teelöfel und zum abschmecken zum Teil nur wenige Tropfen bis ½ Teelöfel für andere Sorten wie z.B. Ahorneis. Meine Freunde lieben mein Eis.

It's the kind of vanilla we've been seeking. Usually when we travel to the US we stop by Costco and pick up a bottle of this sort of extract. It's got the right flavour and consistency. The closest we've found in the Czech Republic has been the bourbon vanilla but its a thick sweet syrup. However, this is exactly what we've been looking for. It's a bit pricy.

This is one of the best vanillas that you can find unless you’re making your own by scratch which is time consuming. This has a very deep flavor of vanilla and will be a very good choice for baked goods.

This is a really great vanilla. A little goes a long way. Intense and smooth.
