Eschone Lazy Holder for Tablet and Cellphone, Gooseneck Flexible Tablet Stand for Bed, Desk, Kitchen, Bathroom(Black)

I bought this to get an Amazon Fire 7" tablet off of the desktop so I have more space for books, drawing materials, etc. (yup, I'm old school but still have 3 monitors). The jaws of the holder were a little large to hold the tablet naked so I put the tablet back in its case and now it holds it just fine. I use the tablet mostly to play music through BT speakers while I work so I don't interact much with the tablet. But I also use it sometimes as an additional monitor for YouTube videos or other reference sites. When I tap on the screen the device does bounce around a bit. I have the arm coiled around twice so it's not stretched out nearly to its full length. If you want to draw or type or interact with the screen a lot I recommend getting a table top stand of some sort. But if you want to just mostly consume media, this is great. I would buy it again.

Not an articulating neck like you see on lamps. The gooseneck is so stiff it takes a lot of force to configure curves. To get those nice curves shown in ad would probably require molding around a pipe - packed tightly coiled and uncoiling was a challenge. The positive is that weight of a tablet won't cause neck to be dragged down. However, I don't think tablets are so heavy that this much stiffness is needed, definitely overkill for a phone. I use on a treadmill. Had to clamp to treadmill frame because console had angled underside that didn't allow enough flat surface.

Overall, it is a good device. However, it does not work well with all Tablets. I own a Samsung Tab A 10.1" and it was too heavy for it. It keeps slumping downwards. It is too large to hold a phone by it's sides. It works if you place your phone horizontally. The quality does not seem bad, it just can't handle heavier tablets, maybe mini tablets and lightweight tablets like kindles would work best.

I wasnt quite sure how this was meant to work as I'm used to a squeeze clamp to grip to a surface, but its actucally quite clever. You place the vice grippers either side of your object and use the long black handle to screw it together and it locks really well. The inside section of the vice grippers is padded so they dont damage your surface. The whole holder is really well made.The arm is quite long and bendy, very easy to move around even when your tablet is attached. The holder is spring loaded so your tablet wont fall out. You can turn the holder 360 degrees so you can view from all angles. I needed something to grip with the kiddy thick case attached and this works very well. No more knocking it on the floor. I also tried it with the larger 8 inch tablet with kiddy case and it holds the bigger tablet too! A great buy!

This little baby gets the job done. My only complaint is that the arm is not very flexible. It holds my phone in place and securely as well. I haven't knocked it off the base not even once. Plus the base attaches to my table and is much more stable than the last one I had. Good value for a good product.

It works pretty good. The clip end doesn't hold very well when trying to move the holder. It will pop off the stand I have it hooked to.

Bought this for my son for Christmas to hold his new iPad mini. It works great. I keep it hooked to his bed for when he watches videos at night. It’s a little hard for him to use, but once I get it hooked up for him it stays put.

I was amazed by how sturdy the goose neck arm is on this holder! It's absolutely perfect for holding my tablet while I work. As a wildlife artist I use reference photos and now it's so much easier with this holder. The silicon pads are perfect for protecting my glass top drawing table and I can maneuver the tablet any way I need. Super happy with this purchase!
